Since I moved back to the Lehigh Valley after over 30 years out of state, I discovered this gem of a store, and have frequented it at least a half dozen times in the past few months. It has an extensive inventory of both fine and costume jewelry and it is a pleasure to browse the store where the items are beautifully displayed. The employees there, Lori and Patrick, are friendly, warm, and welcoming. They cheerfully greet you when you walk in, and ask if you are there to sell anything or just looking. No pressure to buy and they encourage you to look at everything. I have both bought and sold items at the store. Lori advised me on the value of the pieces I brought in, and together we decided what was worth selling and what had more sentimental value. She was honest and efficient, testing each piece to see what it was made of. I sold some items but kept some as they mean more to me than their actual cash value. Both Lori and Patrick are knowledgeable and they make the customer feel immediately at home. I have taken several other people in the store and they commented on how comfortable they felt whether they bought anything or just browsed. WOW. WHAT A GREAT PLACE. Ive never sold jewelry before. I went to three local gold places in the valley. One was a pit. Not worth mentioning their name (A&S.). The second gave me, in my opinion, a very low price because i had no idea what i had. and repeatedly called me " Darling". The owner was very nice! A pleasant change , a lot of the people in the business are just flat out rude! I brought in a bag of some silver coins and said I was looking to scrap. Now since I don't exactly look the part of a person who would be knowledgeable on the subject of silver and coins I told the guy right off the bat exactly what they were. He actually listened to me and said wow, you really know your stuff! A lot of the gold and silver buyers around try and rip me off , because they think I'm not as knowledgeable. I once tried to sell some Sterling silver ( 92.5) and it was a whole 5 Troy oz worth and I was told Sterling silver wasn't valuable because it wasn't pure... it's just about as pure as it gets! Unless you are lucky enough to find some 99 silver or you actually melted it down and separated it yourself!
