Manhattan Bagel — Restaurant in South Whitehall Township

TERRIBLE SERVICE. I typically never leave reviews, but this was just awful. I placed an online order at 10:50 and it was scheduled to be ready at 11:02. I got there at 11:10, walked in, and there were about 8 people waiting on orders. I continued to wait patiently as they seemed short staffed, frantically trying to put together orders and what appeared to be the manager, yelling at customers from across the room asking them what they wanted. I continued waiting patiently. One lady came in yelling that she just wanted a bagel with cream cheese and she wants it now... so they made it for her right then. At around 11:35, the staff asked me about my online order and I showed them the order on my phone and said, oh it might be done soon... HOWEVER, when someone from Door Dash or Grub Hub walked in, they were making those orders ahead of others. It said my order was completed on the tracker but it never was. The staff never came back to the front to check on orders. I ended up just leaving around 11:40...

I was disappointed when I ordered a breakfast sandwich, and it was missing three of the ingredients, avocado, tomato, and chedsr cheese, as advertised on the picture and the item description. There were like two tiny specs of tomato, but not a slice or two. I was in a rush and didn't have time to check it. I shouldn't have to. The woman and man who run it are super nice and friendly and had it done in great time, but missing key Ingredients for what the sandwich costs is unacceptable. I'd rather them take another minute or two to make sure it was made properly. They seem like they could use another worker or two to help with efficiency and accuracy. My boyfriend and I used to go to the Manhattan bagel in Phillipsburg and we LOVED IT! So when we moved to Allentown we were excited to find out the was one near by... But then we went.. Our bagels were not toasted even though we asked for them to be and the hash browns were so greasy and cold that we couldn't even eat them. (we were the only customers in the store so I'm not sure why it would be cold), and they didn't have any of the other coffee add-in's that the other location had. Beyond that they don't keep the condiments out where the customers can use them but when asked, didn't add ketchup or hot sauce to my sandwich.. The staff was rude on top of all of this..
