Retro Loot — Local services in Southampton Township

The shop is awesome. They have a lot of things that you can't get anywhere else. The prices are great. The staff is friendly and talkative and know what they are talking about. They are still trying to get things together, but seeing as the owner is so young (at least, he looks really young), it takes time. What I mean by that is how you want to do different things. We had ask if they would hold something for us, and they said they would, and one of the people accidently sold it to someone else because they thought it was us. So maybe they should put buy post-its and put names on things to hold items for people or whatever they decide to do for their business. Just a suggestion. It wasn't a big deal for us, but some people aren't this calm when it comes to these types of things. The store was clean and fun. We will be back. I am really impressed by this store and its employees. The employee that accidently sold the product reached out to us to let us know that they were trying to find the item they sold online to buy it for us because the employee felt really bad. We left the employee know that they didn't have to do that because it was an accident it was really nice to think of customers like that, though. How many stores would do that for customers that they really don't know? Not many! Like I said, we will go back, but now it will be WE DEFINITELY WILL GO BACK BECAUSE THEY CARE ABOUT...

Very Clean Store and friendly staff, but almost every disc based game I opened up were scratched up big time. How can you ask a High price for an Original Xbox game and when opening the case its a mess? They have resurfacing machines, but why not resurface the game before putting out for sale? That's a huge turn off right from the start. I don't mind paying the fair price, but make sure the game disc are worthy of that price. I will say the NES cart selection is pretty good. The prices are not bad and they have a pile of mids to highs both out on the shelf and in the glass case. Not trying to beat up on them, but just a suggestion on resurfacing before putting out. We go to a store in Martinsburg where the owner doesn't put anything out unless it's tested and cleaned first. You will find that a buyer will grab more from the get go if the games...

The entire atmosphere is welcoming and warm. From the kind greeting to the staff treating you like a friend you've had for years. They take time to listen to what you want or looking for and help and suggest like items. They don't only offer a store experience. They have games you can play and from time to time the staff might join you for a game. Ive found more than one gem for my collection there and made many new friends in staff and other customers. I'll gladly visit regularly. This is more than a store it's an Oasis.

Update: adding to my review 3 months later I've asked on multiple occasions for unique items and the store owners have worked with me to not only secure it but at a fair price that we both are happy with. The selection grows...
