Pretty good deals every time I go; however my recent experience was horrible! Horrible experience when picking up an online order. I received an update stating that the order was delivered at 11:59 am on September 1, 2020 at the store in Southaven Mississippi; however, when I went to pick it up, I was told that the items were not there. Upon further investigation it was determined that the items had arrived; however the items were never checked in by the store. I was informed that the items were still on the dock. Prior to this disclosure, it was insinuated by two ladies in supervisory/managerial positions that the items hadn’t shipped and that I had been refunded for the non-shipped items and I was attempting to circumvent the system by trying to obtain a refund that they alleged that they I had already revived. Several references were made stating that the company didn’t charge for items that hadn’t been shipped. They even requested my mailing address and phone number for what reason they never disclosed. I made several attempts to show them banking documentation as well as payment transaction via PayPal which supported my stance that I hadn’t been refunded for any part of my purchase. I also showed them my tracking information that specifically stated that the shipment was delivered to the store at 11:59 am as well as what items were in the shipment. They were very rude and dismissive when I asked questions and tried to share information regarding my shipment. They even tried to say that there were two different order numbers even when I had evidence showing that there was only 1 order, and the items were just delivered in two separate shipments. When I asked why was only one item from the delivery on September 1 was checked in and not all items when they were all delivered at the same time in one shipment, they continued being dismissive and no one could provide a legit response. At this point, I will be contacting the cooperate officer to file a formal complaint against the store and the managerial staff. I ordered a pair of shorts for same day pick up at the store (hours ahead of time before they would be considered from next day pick up). I kept checking my order status and it kept saying “processing”. So I finally just go up to the store to get the item. When serving at the store I immediately pick up my item off the rack and go to the check-out line. I explain to the sales lady my problem and she responds. I don’t know anything about that you need to go to customer service, she offered me no help or anything. So I went to customer service and explained the problem. They offered no assistance what so ever! I ask why my item was ready when it said it would be, they say the person working that night is LAZY AND DIDN'T GET TO IT! What?! So after doing all of that I go to the front and purchase the path myself after they were already bought online.
After calling the one 800 number they explain to me in the morning when my parents say that they are ready for pick up I could just call and cancel the order. I wake up the next morning they say they’re ready for pick up and then I called the store. The lady that answered the phone then tells me she can’t hear me she can’t hear me when after I called the one 800 number they were able to hear me fine she proceeds to hang up in my face. There was a huge line that wrapped all the way to the shoe section, but instead of assisting quickly, she was taking her time unwrapping multiple butterscotch candies. When it was finally our turn, she aggressively snatched everything from our hands.We inquired about a deal where you could get five items for a certain price, and instead of helping, peggey rudely said, “Show me the sign, go show me the sign!” So, we walked all the way to the back of the store just to show her the sign. We were right, and she was wrong, but you’d think after being proven wrong, she’d be nicer—nope. She became even ruder.Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time we’ve had an issue with peggey. About two weeks ago, while we were checking out, my sister had a candy in her hand and was about to place it on the counter. peggey approached our mom and accused her of stealing, saying, “Your daughter has something in her hand she isn’t supposed to have.” It was embarrassing and unnecessary, as my sister clearly intended to pay for the candy.Excuse me, peggy, but are we not allowed to buy candy?
