Upon arrival, I was directed to the front self serve kiosk line to sign in and complete waivers. Then I selected my purchase and went to pay, only to find that the card readers on all the kiosks have been ripped off. So now I have to go stand in another line to purchase the tickets.
Upon entering the park I situate myself at the bar area next to the cafe and while the kiddos go play I decide to get something to eat. I ordered the pizza combo, only to be told they are out of pizza. Ok next choice, cheese sticks.. only to be told that menu item is discontinued even though it’s clearly on the menu.
Ok so I order some waffle fries and a pretzel, not what I had in mind but I guess it’s what’s available. I pay for my food and get handed a purple cone with a number on it and am told they will call my number when ready. That was was 3:19 pm. After waiting 25 mins which I thought was a stretch for a pretzel and fries I approach the cafe and inquire on my order after having to flag down a young man who did not appear to want to be there. I was told they are backed up. Frustrated but not wanting to make things worse I said ok and returned to my seat. 50 minutes after placing my order I was finally served. My issue isn’t necessarily the wait time, it’s the attitude of all the staff, they seemed pissed at the world, not wanting to be there and acted like everything is a major inconvenience to them. This is either piss poor management, pay, or working conditions.
My kids also informed me that the workers at the fun stations either didn’t care what was going on, or were not assisting the kids who needed help on the high courses.
As a business you should do better to make entry easier into your park, fix your kiosks or change your kiosk to not let you purchase and only do waivers if that’s your model. Address the food items on your menu, make sure you order enough to have enough, if you discontinue an item pull it off the digital menu. Nothing worse than to be teased with something and told it’s not available. Lastly but almost the most important, your employees make the experience. Train them well, pay them well, and make the workplace somewhat enjoyable for them. Sorry for the long rant but maybe someone at corporate will read this and make things better. I only gave it 2 stars vs 1 because my kids had...
Read moreOne word for urban air Southaven ? HORRIBLE. From the minute you walk in no one helps you, the place is filthy, and half the attractions are closed. I will never ever step foot in or recommend anyone to this location. We spent over $30 taking our 4.5 year old here for the day and disappointed is an understatement. She is a very adventurous and brave kid so the attractions weren’t the issue. The staff were rude and unwelcoming. Our daughter was attempting the warrior course and fell in, which is fine and expected, she quickly got ‘stuck’ and almost trampled on by bigger kids while the employee stood by on his phone completely uninterested in being there at all. She then wanted to try the gravity area of the trampolines where an employee rudely pulled her out without speaking a word to her OR us when we were asking what was the problem. On the normal trampolines bigger kids constantly were nearly landing on her while the employees watched. The games are ridiculously overpriced. The food is overpriced. The lockers are overpriced and they have ONE kiosk so I hope you love waiting in line for an hour to put your things up or get your belongings back. Not to mention the ‘Matchine’ was not working yet it accepted my card just fine. We ended up leaving after 45 minutes with our very heartbroken child. Either shut it down or restaff it. And worth mentioning if you’re going to have a 5 and under pass maybe make SOME of your facility friendly and safe to 5 and under! Even with us helicoptering over her she was constantly being almost stepped on and hurt by much larger kids who were well over the MAXIMUM height for the attraction she was on. Disgusted and displeased. Waste of...
Read moreWe were celebrating our daughter's 10 year birthday this weekend. We always have big parties for our children, so money was not the issue. I like to give feedback on good and bad service. My daughter and her friends had a great time, the food was very good and our party host did an excellent job handling 31 kids by himself. This review is more about inept management and poor customer service on the manager’s part. When booking the party, we were told that a room could host 40 kids. It turns out; the room will probably accommodate about 20 comfortably. If you go over that, they won't bring you any chairs, so be prepared. My wife purchased gift cards at a 50% off sale during the Holidays, specifically for this party. When we got ready to check out after the party, all of the cards had been loaded incorrectly by the very same manager last month. She tried to say that we had spent the money on the cards which was ridiculous. Fortunately my wife had her receipts to prove the purchase. We had misplaced one of our gift cards for $100.00 and the manager acted like it was foreign company so she couldn’t lookup the card and replace the lost card despite us having the receipt of purchase. She seems as though she really needs more training on the system. Neither here nor there we found it later at home. Secondly, we asked about Military discount and she offered a $2 dollar discount on an 800.00 bill. It's nice to know what they think of our military. Overall,it was a great party, but typically the manager of a place is the most knowledgeable where as it was the total opposite here. You should be fine goingthere as long as you don’t have to deal with the manager....
