Friendly and personable. Ed McAniff and Paul wrote the book on Customer Service. They always go that extra mile to help you with your packages and answer all your questions. They make it a point to ship your packages the most cost effective way for you, that gets the packages there when needed. They don't automatically go for the most expensive way. They customize the shipping options that meet your needs. At this UPS Store, whether you need something packed, faxed or mailed by them for safe transit, or maybe you're just dropping off something you packed or picking up a package being held for you, make no mistake, they will help you! Ed or Paul will help you pick out just the right box and packing material if you choose to pack your own items. They always greet you with a smile and thank you for stopping by to use their services, all occasion cards, packing materials, or use a USPS mail box where you can have your mail delivered.
I've been going to this UPS Store since I moved to SOUTHBURY 7 years ago. I have only good things to say about all my interactions there. There are no negatives comments to make.

Read moreMy experience with Emad and his assistant was NOTHING LESS THAN AMAZING!!! Yesterday, I received a last minute call from my daughter, Marie in Ghana who asked me to overnight two phones to her friend in DC who was returning to Ghana today. I was at work when I saw Marie's text request. At first I ignored it saying to myself, how could I finish work, buy phones and find an overnight carrier before they closed?? First I called UPS, Prospect and received no help. They felt that even though I was in Waterbury, I wouldn't be able to get to Prospect before the "trucks left" going to the airport. I then called UPS, Southbury. Emad told me that he would wait for me to come to Southbury. I bought the phones in Waterbury, then drove to Southbury. I paid for the phones's shipping and Emad quickly packaged them. Emad then did something REMARKABLE!!! He asked me to follow him to UPS, Watertown that was closed. Emad had access and we went into the store. He spoke to the associate who graciously said that it would be delivered Tomorrow!!! Today, I spoke to my daughter's friend who told me that she received the phones. Coincidentally, Emad called me at the same time, to inform me that he had tracked the package and it was delivered at 11:30 this morning. God is Good!!!! THANK YOU,...
Read moreUnfortunately I had a bad experience at this store. The person who was assisting me was rude and condescending. I am not sure why. I was the only one in the store at the time and I was asking for assistance in returning a package to AMAZON. I was given instructions to send a code from AMAZON to the store email so a shipping ticket could be printed, when I was unable to send to the email address provided by the clerk using my phone as instructed the clerk said that I clearly was not following her directions. When the clerk attempted to try she also was unable to do it. I am not sure why she had such a bad attitude. I will probably will not return to the store. I hope the clerk had a better day and lost the attitude 😒 After having a bad experience the first time I went to this UPS Store I decided to give the store another chance, this time I was assisted by Randy, I was returning an item from AMAZON and he made it a painless process which I really appreciated. I did return again to send a package and again I was assisted Randy and he also made that process easy.
