Marcus & Tom ROCK!! My husband and I recently had diffuculty with our cell service carrier and inconsistent coverage. I called that carrier, as well going into their local store, to see if they could offer a solution or at least a better deal, since we had been a loyal customer for many years, but they couldn't and we sure weren't feeling like "loyal customers" anymore. I decided then to call other carriers to see what they offered. Verizon, who I knew had the best coverage in the area, but I felt we're more expensive seemed to have some options, so my husband and I headed across the parking lot to the Verizon store. We were greeted by Marcus. Marcus was friendly, knowledgeable and just plain Nice! He went over all the plans and worked with us until we found a plan that was even better than our previous carrier with 2 new phones to boot! It was getting close to closing, so Tom, who was the other sales associate wizard, jumped in to help. Marcus and Tom went over our plan, explained our new phones, showed us optional asscessories (with discounts;). It was now past closing time and we felt bad, but both Marcus and Tom let us know that it was no problem and wanted to make sure our new phones were set up and all our info was successfully switched from our old phones. Once all that was done, they then answered all our questions about our new phones and even helped us customize them! Not once did we feel rushed!!! Instead we felt like Valued and Loyal Customers!!! Both Marcus and Tom also let us know they would be in the store the next day if we had any questions and to please stop by!!! If this is any indication of how Verizon is I think with No doubt we made the right decision! Thank You so much Marcus and Tom for going above and beyond!!!    Read moreI dropped my phone in my car and couldnât reach it between the seats and as an older person I couldnât bend the way I needed to to get it. I saw a Verizon store and was greeted my a man named Johnnie. I told him that I donât have Verizon for service but asked it he could help me. Without hesitation he grabbed his coat, came to my car and retrieved it for where it was stuck. As a spectrum mobile customer I was taken aback his kindness and willingness to help someone who wasnât even a Verizon customer. After his help I decided to go back into the store and see what offers that had for new customer. Johnnie was so patient with me as I ended up have more questions the longer we spoke. He gave me the price of his offer and though it was a bit higher than what I was currently paying with Spectrum, I couldnât help but recognize the level of service he provided me throughout our interaction. To me that was well worth the price increase knowing that I would be able to come as an actual customer and have help whenever needed it. I also ended up with a better deal as I was also able to get a new iPad as part of this offer. Johnnie is definitely an asset to his company not only as a salesperson but just as a person.    Read moreBEWARE - THIS IS NOT A FULL-FLEDGED VERIZON STORE! In January I was offered a REFURBISHED iPhone 4S 32 GB as a trade for a faulty iPhone 4S 16 BG. The refurbished phone came with no box, no cords, and no instructions. Two months later the refurbished phone starting cutting out to a black screen and had to be re-powered often. I went back into the store and spoke with Mike about an upgrade to an iPhone 6. He told me I had used my upgrade in January! Bear in mind I had already called Verizon and was told they would do an upgrade to an iPhone 6, but I should try to work it out with the store first. I went back to the store and once again Mike told me my upgrade had been used and I would have to wait until January 2017 for the next upgrade! Back on the phone I went with Verizon and a day later I am happily using my new iPhone 6 64 GB with an upgrade from my iPad. I will never set foot in the Southbury, CT store again and neither will my husband. We will go the extra 15 minutes to Danbury. Furthermore, the Southbury store took my old phone and never told me about the re-cycling program where I would either get a bit of cash or could donate my phone for charity.
