I have shopped at the daisy daydream store several times and have found some good pieces. However this last visit was not impressed by the clothes or the atmosphere. I saw the young girl inside, even though on the window it said closed , we will be back soon . That got her attention and she opened the door. it was afternoon, and they sometimes have varied hours. After giving it a sweep, saw much of nothing and said thanks, barely got a response from the chic on her phone. I hope the store doesn't fade away, because most stores in So pines are well attended .The vibe was not much of a daydream. You might want to check out your competition. Thanks for your attention to details and getting back to address the comment. Whatever the process is for running your store, you need to hire people that have an attitude towards work, not taking up space. In today's market you can place a representative in the store, but if there's no communication vibe, there isn't much point to stopping by. This is a free economy, so leaving a review that is accurate, will help a new shopper. make a wise choice. Notable, that the adjacent consignment right next door to you , has doors open and attendant onthe floor. Modeling that business...
Read moreI'm writing this review in response to a negative (2/5 star) review I saw on this google page, that in all honesty, couldn't be more of a less accurate representation of this shop and it's employees. As someone who is from a different state and only recently moved to Southern Pines I was curios to explore the local shops/community, and I have never felt more welcome than in this 'daydream' of a thrift store. The employees are so nice, and will talk with you about anything and everything. Furthermore, the atmosphere is accepting and uplifting, and the store itself has some of the coolest vintage collections of clothing I have encountered in my era of thrifting. If you are reading reviews to determine whether or not this store is worth checking out, let this review be your sign to swing by and support this business. I cannot understate how their kindness has made me feel welcome in this community. Not to mention some of the insane thrifting finds I've happened upon in their store, taking my style and appreciation for solid thrift stores to a new level. Go check them out, promise you'll...
Read moreI went into Daisy Daydream to look for a second-hand dress to use for my upcoming winter formal, masquerade themed. I tried on multiple dresses and I was in and out of the dressing room while also rummaging through their FREE clothing bin. The wonderful woman at the desk was so kind and patient, even helped me zip up a dress! After being stuck between 2 dresses I asked her for her opinion and she absolutely boosted my confidence and showered me with compliments on how flattering the second dress looked on me (the one I was currently wearing). I left that day with 2 ginormous bags full of clothes, and the only thing I paid for was the dress! Among the dress I found a ton of nice clothing in the free bin and she was more than happy to assure me to take as much as I want. I asked about the free bin and how often they have it displayed, and she said they have it out every day and always keep it filled! Very very happy, this place is definitely...
