My husband purchased a dress here as my Mother’s Day gift for me that unfortunately ended up being too small around my chest. He was worried about the size and was told I could always come back to exchange it for a different size. I went two weeks later (since I have a busy life with a baby) to see if they had the dress in a bigger size and at first was told since it was beyond 10 days of purchase that I wouldn’t have been able to do that but was told they would “make an exception.” The larger size was barely bigger than the medium and still didn’t fit, therefore I was stuck with a dress that 1) wasn't cheap and 2) that I couldn’t ever wear myself. You aren’t even able to exchange for another item it has to be the EXACT same item. The lady ended up being so rude when I expressed that my husband never told me of their policy and that it was a final sale and nothing she could do about it. She said “well there’s a sign at the register and it’s on the receipt” in a condescending tone. I checked the receipt after and it was practically cut off on the way bottom. Maybe if they actually verbalized their policy to their customers who clearly are buying an item as a gift, than my husband would have actually expressed it to me since he was just as upset when I showed up back home with the same dress. Clearly all this owner cares about is taking peoples money and doesn’t care about having happy customers. came into today with my boyfriend to look at some clothes, was assisted with an employee to get set up with a dressing room with all the items I wanted to try on. (2, a dress and a shirt) After trying on the clothes neither of them fit, we put the items back and left the store. Shortly after we are confronted by a very polite officer about the situation, except it was asking me if I stole one of the items I tried on. I calmly explained where I put the item when I returned and even had my boyfriend take a picture of the sizing of the dress, so we had proof it was a small. They accused us of stealing and were very rude throughout the entire confrontation. After my boyfriend showed them proof that we did in fact not steal an XS dress, both of the employees continued to be super rude and overall hostile. I believe it was a honest mistake because the items were prepped in the dressing room for us, however the way the situation was handled was inappropriate and aggressive. I dont believe they even attempted to check the cameras, they just called the cops on us. If you aren’t white and rich, I wouldnt recommend going into that store, as it seems those are the only people welcome! Very disappointed as I loved that store but will never shop here again. Had my eye on a sweater the other day so ran out on my lunch to grab it but had to get home soon as I had a meeting for work so I didn’t try it on at the store. As soon as I got home I noticed a big hole around the neck.
