We own and operate the Ford Dealership in Manteo which is about 30 minutes from the Verizon store in Southern Shores. On Tuesday, one of our customers was here from Ocracoke Island buying a new truck. In the process of trying to get his phone updated to use the FordPass App, his iPhone 6s locked up. We were in a panic. He needed to catch either the 6 or the 7:30 ferry from Hatteras (an hour and 15 minutes from here) and I was absolutely having a breakdown because he told me: "My life is on that phone!" I called Taylor Woolford, the store manager who is a friend of mine. I explained the situation and put my customer on the phone with Taylor. After a short conversation, Taylor told my customer to sit tight that he was going to drive to Manteo to help him resolve the issue. Folks, this is the epitome of customer service! This customer was truly distraught. His world has been turned upside down since Hurricane Dorian destroyed Ocracoke in September, and he was here to get a new truck to replace one of the two he lost to Dorian. When Taylor arrived, he was incredible. In just a matter of about 30 minutes, he had resolved all of the issues for this customer! And this is not the first time Taylor has come to my rescue. He is absolutely THE BEST. As a business owner, I would give anything to have an employee like Taylor working for me. Victra should be proud that he represents them and Verizon.    Read moreOn Friday night November 30th my I phone wasnât working correctly so I visited the Victra location @ 5597 C N Croatan HWY Southern Shores NC 27949... Anyway, I Carolyn Palermo rolled in 7:45p thinking it would be an easy fix & therefore the two gentlemen & I would be out the door on time! Not so fast-Didnât happen! The employee that was working on my cell found a whole can of worms to elk & trouble shoot that I was clueless about! Anyway-He couldâve sent me away after fixing what I originally came in for-I was unaware of anything significant being amiss but he took it upon himself to fix other issues he had found, took the time to review my plan! He went WAY beyond the call of duty helping me! It was highly appreciated & hoping I hear from him about possible options tomorrow... Who knows! Perhaps Iâll be buying not 1 BUT 2 new I phones!!!!! Again! Iâm VERY greatful đ customer & look forward to visiting this store tomorrow before heading back to Richmond VA. The gentleman that worked so diligently was LUKE & the manager Taylor Woolford!    Read moreI walked into this Verizon location 5 minutes before closing on a Friday night. I had lost my phone. I had no contacts, texts, photos or emails. These items are crucial as I typically converse with 25-30 employees on Saturdays in order to expedite the turnover of rental homes. There is no way my business would operate without my phone. Carrie opted to stay late and help me out. She was able to investigate my business account and provide numbers for fellow employees. With that information I was able to start rebuilding passwords and account info necessary for the purchase of a new phone. Once that was done she successfully restored my settings and all info. My business would have been in a terrible spot had it not been for Carrie going far above and beyond the expected level of service. Carrie truly went the extra mile. I have not dealt with a more knowledgeable representative in all my years with Verizon. In addition to her knowledge she works hard to overcome obstacles and truly wants to give the best service. I think they should nickname her âCaringâ. Thatâs how she rolls. She will not disappoint! ...
