We bought a GE microwave from this store and when I tried to install it the mounting thread was missing from the top of so I had to return it which was no problem but the sales woman, Josephine did not know anything about the appliances in the department. She acted like she did not even want to be there. After returning the broken microwave I decided to look at another model and Josephine acted like she was put out about having to go to the back and retrieve another one. I did not want to deal with her so I left hoping her shift would be finished when I came back later that day. When I came back I dealt with JoAnn and she was helpful but told me I had to order the new microwave online even though her computer said there were two in the store. I was going to order the microwave through the store until I found out that if something was wrong with it I could not bring it back to the Kitty Hawk store. Josephine showed up again and JoAnn had her seek out the department manager, Warren to waive a shipping fee. She told Warren that my husband was yelling at the employees which was a lie. Warren was very unprofessional when he told my husband if we were not happy than we did not have to shop at that store anymore. We spend a lot of money at Home Depot and do not appreciate being talked to in that manner. The employees in that department definitely need more training and Warren is not management material. We have bought three microwaves in less than ten years and they all came from Home Depot. I know things are not made like they used to be but the employees there should not be cold and indifferent when a customer has to come back time and time again to replace their appliances. They should show a little empathy and not make comments like we should be lucky that it lasted 3 years. What kind of comment is that to make to one of your customers. Update: I ended up going to the Chesapeake Home Depot on Hillcrest the next day and bought my new GE Microwave with ease. I had three different associates ask if I needed help as I was walking around their store. They were knowledgeable and courteous. I was also told by Joann in the Kitty Hawk Store that the Chesapeake Store did not have any of the microwaves I was looking for when I asked her to check. I hope the Kitty Hawk store manager takes this serious and trains her employees to be as helpful as other Home...

We spent big money on these for the renters and homeowners specifically wanted each thing we purchased. Then as if that's not bad enough I oucrchased the color led Philip's hue set and kit and they all are defective and no one will replace it arguing with us that they were fine when we purchased and insisting it was us who messed it up in install. Ya know since we just opened the box and the ELECTRICAL TEAM LICENSE AND ALL PLUGGED THE FIRST BULB IN AND IT MADE A CRAZY NOISE ANR NOTHING ELSE WORKED. THEN I ALSO PIRCHAED 2 OF THE FLOOD LIGHT CAMERAS AND HAD THEM BEFORE THE MONTH I WAITED TO GET MORE FROM THEM NKT HOLDKNG UP AT 129 EACH ones that work with snap program... And oh that's my fault too it didn't work. Down to the jacuzzi tub we ordered and. Fake hardwood flooring wrong sizing they ordered and not enough to do the job... And the tub leaked out immediately after fill. Due to my disabilities and fighting cancer... I mentally can not argue and shouldn't have to that this is fraud and illgegal and not in policy if it were they still wouldn't follow it. Well this homeowner be is a lawyer and has his own firm and his wife coa agent retiring for landscaping. I'll give them a for chance to reach out 48 hours to me personally or I will absolutely make sure no.one goes there as we know almost all local people here and most importantly all businesses. Lowe's is great and I think u all would agree too. Review number one is a jist.
