Subway — Restaurant in Kitty Hawk

There is no wonder why this store has horrible reviews. The 2 women working tonight were rude and closed the inside of the store at 4 pm. We found this out when we tried to sit down and eat with our family. The older woman, who claimed to be the owners wife, said we could eat at the high top tables. This would have been impossible with a newborn. She then began arguing with me about how she doesn't deserve abuse and if I wanted her job I could have it, which I told her no problem I don't mind working for those that don't want to. She would not stop arguing i told her to call the owners and she refused. It's a good thing my husband was nice enough to continue ordering and pay. Otherwise, I would have walked out. The sandwiches were made wrong not by subway standards, veggies were not good and a sad amount. The men that own these subways are not bad people, it's a shame they can't get help from adequate workers. I would love for the owners to contact me, I'm a regular at the Nags Head store and that store doesn't have this kind of hostility. The people that manage it are personable and good natured. Definitely lost my business, I'm not going to be disrespected by women that don't care to do their jobs. If she can joust open and close the store as she feels maybe she should not be working there. I stop by here quite frequently and I can confidently say this is one of the nicest and cleanest subways I've ever been to. Staff is incredibly friendly and professional, and my sandwich is always made perfectly. The bread always tastes fresh, and im always impressed by how nice the veggies look! Plus they slice most of the meat in house as well! Its amazing how they can continue to run this store so exceptionally while being extremely short staffed! I swear I see the same to girls work all day and night, it almost seems like theyre the only employees there! But despite that they are always so friendly and quick! Excellent job ladies, keep up...

Today is the second time I go to the place between 6:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. and it's the second time they've told me that I can't eat there because they've already cleaned the tables and they don't want to clean them again because they want to leave early. I don't know if the owners or administrators agree with these policies. I went regularly in the mornings and the service was good, I even always left 20% in tips. But it seems that when the older lady is there, she serves the clientele...
