Shun Xing Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Southern Shores

So very disappointed and angry at this place. A J1 Student that works in town came in with his manager to have lunch today because this is all the J1 student wanted before leaving to go back to his home country. Well, they were kicked out of the restaurant because the J1 student "looked too Arabic". Well, just so you know the gentleman is from Jordan and is legally working in our country and is a student. What is wrong with these people? The gentleman that told them to leave said they were never welcome in the establishment again. Of course, they had already paid for their food and were sitting down and eating when they were told they had to leave.

These people both live in your community and work in your community and this is how you treat them. Tourist are there every day and every week...I will personally make sure they know NOT to visit this establishment any more.

This is NOT ok! There will be a complaint filed with the BBB...

Spent a week in the Outer Banks with about 10 people and was getting tired of cooking burgers, hot dogs, steaks etc. Already stopped at a few restaurants, ordered pizza. Last night here, we wanted something quick and easy to clean up so that we could enjoy the day/night with family. Ordered a couple of chicken and steak combination dinners, pork fried rice, soups, boneless spare ribs and some other stuff. Put it all out buffet style and everything was excellent. Not one complaint from anyone and we were all stuffed at the end. Very happy to...

I was racially abused by a person who said his family owns the store and told me I was not welcome just based on my skin color. He said Arabs are not welcome because of previous and ongoing wars. I paid for my food and I was ready to enjoy it until this man came and started yelling at me, I could not finish it after that. If this is the owner’s family, then I suggest staying away from this place. It’s 2023, there is no room for racism anywhere on the planet. And he was threatening me to kill me if i came back...
