Disclaimer: I give my ratings based on 5 points; Location, Customer Service, Wait Time, Price-to-Product, and if I would go there again. I give one star based on each point, and even if they excel in one category, they can only achieve a maximum of one star.
Location (1): Fairly clean, very organized, and they have almost anything your art loving heart could desire.
Service (0): Good service, always friendly, but they don’t have people around the store to ask if you can’t find something. If you need help, you have to go all the way up to the front and ask for help.
Time (0): As long as you know what you’re looking for, you should be able to get in and get out quickly. Only problems are that the lines are usually long since they only have 1 or 2 registers open, and if you can’t find something, it can be quite tricky to find someone to help you.
Price (1): Although a lot of their stuff is fairly expensive, they always have a ton of coupons going on, and the clearance rack usually has a lot of good stuff for a decent price. Don’t forget to check online for coupons!
Revisiting (1): I would definitely come here again just because it is one of the only art places around here that has almost everything you could want. If there was a cheaper alternative though, I would definitely go...
Read moreI started off at the Southfield location. I just started a new hobby and wanted to get suppies. While looking through the beads 📿 a woman's voice kept drilling into my head she was so loud, I remember thinking, 'Use your indoor voice'.🗣 I heard her speaking with other associates and again she was very loud, but hey. Two customers asked for assistance. One she walked over to the beads telling her if that's not what she wanted to look on the other side, 'Okay, and walked off. Another lady asked her about a product and she said she didn't know, not her department. Yet another asked if anyone was working in frame dept, again said she didn't know, but at customers insistence she finally call for assistance. Now me, I had over two hundred dollars worth of supplies once I reached check out and guess who was at the register. 😒 I had two question, guess what her response way, I DONT KNOW. I had a 25% coupon, but couldn't get the bar code to show on my phone, asked her but she did know either. I wish I remembered her name. I was so tired of her at this point, I just told her to keep it and walked out of the store. I could have asked for a managers assistant, but my question would have been, why is she here is she doesn't like working with the public. ...
Read moreI was looking online to see if somebody has a big gift box and I found that Michaels has it. So I said let me buy it on my way to the birthday party which was a surprise . I drove there an hour ahead and I was in hurry, but I couldn’t find the box. So I said fine let me just buy a happy birthday bag, but they also didn’t have that. So I ended up getting a gift wrap only and my gifts looked horrible. Anyway I also wanted to buy balloons for the surprise, so i got them and paid and then the worker made me wait going back and forth and then she said :” I am sorry we dont have helium to fill them with” . It was my first time going there and it will be my last.
