Worse customer service ever. I brought a stove and refrigerator from this place June 29th I was told that items would be delivered on July 29th and I was ok with that given the circumstances of what is going on now with the virus. So July 28th they called and said they would be out the next day between 3:30 and 7:30 we waited no one showed up or called I called 3 times and was told they had unti 8:00 to show, still no one came or cslled. Called the next morning and I was bounced around put on hold and this and hung up on and had to call back multiple times only to find out that they rescheduled my delivery without contacted me. The people thst was worked on the customer service phones unprofessional just as the other departments that I kept getting transferred to not to mention the delivery department not being professional to give me a call to say they were not coming or that they rescheduled my delivery day. I'm supposed to have a bathroom floor installed tomorrow but scared thst I will experience the same type of unprofessionalism that I have received this far. Never again will I go to this company. It only takes a phone call to say we can't make it out today and would you like to reschedule at a more convenient time for you. Customer Satisfaction is not this Company's Motto.
Update: August 1, 2020
So I received a call yesterday July 31,2020 from some at Home Depost apologizing that for the delivery that did not happen on July 29, 20020 and was told that someone would be out the next (Aug 1, 2020). So I am hoping and waiting that someone shows up today. As for the installation of my bathroom, the installer came out and saw that it was 2 layer of tile that had to come up and that there would be an additional charge for each layer and I was ok with that no problem, he stated that he was told only one layer, so he had a problem with that. Once he saw that ceramic tile was under the 2nd layer he told my husband I'm not that, which we understood due to you do not know what's under the ceramic tile. So I will be returning the tile and other items for a refund. And my husband and I will go woth another company to restore the ceramic tile and the kitchen floor and a hardwood floor for the stairs. THIS COMPANY So it's now 10:00I they had until 8:00 to make my delivery. No call from no one about this delivery. This is the second day I have lost food waiting on these people. U I will be going to the Southfield store to get a full refund and cancel the installation for the kitchen floor and returning all materials that I picked up for the bathroom floor and take my business someplace else where they will take care of their customers BETTER.I HAVE BEEN IN CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR 25 + YEARS AND THiS IS THE WORSE EVER NO ONE TRIED TO RESOLVE MY ISSUES NO GOING OVER AND BEYOND TO TRY TO MAKE A CUSTOMER FEEL BETTER IS NOT WHAT THIS COMPANY CUSTOMER SERVICE DOES THEY JUST KEPT TRANSFERING TO OTHER PEOPLE NOT TRYING TO ASSIST AT ALL.

So I went to get a full refund and come to find out THE APPLAINCES THAT I BROUGHT WAS NEVER IN STOCK. I AM SPEECHLESS THAT NO ONE NEVER TOLD ME THAT INCLUDING THE SALESPERSON THAT SOLD IT TO ME. Read moreThe service and service mentality has nearly become extinct here. It's never been stellar but it has slid to the very bottom. My first stop was returns where I was reprimanded for standing in the wrong line though I was standing under the "Returns" sign. She says "Can't you see there's only 2 of us here?!" Then I had to use the restroom & stopped an employee to ask where it was. He points to a sign way down and asks "Do you see the sign with the arrow?" "Yes", I said squinting into the distance. I turned to thank him, but he was gone. No, "follow that to the very back of the store", nothing. Just gone, Next stop lumber: I was back there trying to figure out exactly what needed for about 45 minutes. Never saw an orange apron. Another customer saw me flummoxed and offered to help me. Next stop paint: here, I was actually greeted, helped, & she told me where I could find the rest of the items on my list. However, she was as disgruntled as I was about the way the store was being handled. Cashier at checkout was very nice & efficient, though. Too bad more employees like her don't seem to work there. Maybe train her some of the departments and put her on the floor to SERVE customers. Let the surly ones who don't care about their work or the customer work in the back or get carts from the pkg lot. I've been shopping at Ace lately and will be going back - to Ace, not Home Depot. If I can't find what I need at Ace or the price difference is too great, I'll go to Amazon. No one should be giving their hard-earned dollars to be treated like...
Read moreAs a truck driver, I just told dispatch to not ever send me to this location. Been here for at least an hour, and all we managed to take off the truck are maybe 10 single doors. Had to grab lumber carts from out side and help the only guy working in receiving unload them. Receiving is packed to the gills and the man was not ready, or even informed of the appointment He's supposed to quickly get the stuff off my truck, instead he turns to doing something else everytime I leave him. Been here before, and can't ignore the toxic work culture at this location. Other associates standing by the receiving desk looking at their computers, while one lonely guy is unloading and receiving trucks. On a previous load, I had to ask them if they could help to no avail. Keep in mind that I have Been servicing Home Depot almost daily since November 2017. Floors between the isles are packed with merchandise on and off carts waiting to be shelved. I ask a young associate to help me with one more lumber cart, to find him 10 minutes later walking into receiving empty handed. When I asked him where is the cart, he answered that his supervisor told him that's not his job. I asked a couple of associates on the floor "why is this place like this", and their answer was " I don't know" Other receiving locations always get extra help from associates when I show up. Truck drivers, please avoid this location...
