National Coney Island - Southfield — Restaurant in Southfield

I understand now as to why I have only been here once! The cashier was only concerned with the bottom line$$$ versus making sure I got what I ordered and that my meal was hot! I did a takeout and waited at the counter ordered 2 coney's and added the combo for the extra $5 and here it is as soon I got in my car and drove 1/4 down the way... I began to eat my coney which was very sparse barely any onions; chili and very little mustard... it felt as though I was eating practically all bun! The fries was room temperature! The only good thing was the Rootbeer! Everything else was HORRIBLE! I specifically said to the male cashier can you ensure the cook puts enough onions and mustard please... the male cashier replies... "well it depends on who's cooking"

HUH!???

I've never heard such nonsense!

Because he didn't show that the customer mattered in keeping my business.... he made a grave decision to not give the customer what they paid for, and that's why this review is being submitted!

$4 hotdogs 🌭 with hardly any fixings and room temp fries will cost this business sooner than later it's...

I walked in sat down and was told from across the restaurant that I had to order from the take out line. So being confused about this, I went up and ordered. Right away the tip screen popped up on the credit card pad. I was confused about it so I didn't tip if this was going to be cafeteria style situation. I then filled my own take out cup with water and sat down. About 5 minutes later my food was brought out to me on a cafeteria tray and plopped down on the table and the sever left without saying a word. Everything was on take out style containers. Then you had to throw away your own scrap. I don't know what is going on with National Coney Island but the whole experience sucked! The fries were undercooked and I asked for chilli with beans and received without beans. And the container was only filled a little more than half way. Definitely not going back to any National Coney Islands soon. I know that they are always skimpy on the French fries but this whole...

I had the worst experience. I placed a curbside order with tip. I called like it stated on the parking spot. First cashier said I will be right out. It was maybe 5 people inside sitting eating. Not crowded. 10 mins later no one came out. People started coming and going. I call again and was told by the second cashier I will be right out. 10 mins later no one. It appears that they want you to come inside. If that was the case just say so. I get out after five more mins. The cashier said my order was sitting at The counter for 10 mins. Now she told me 15 mins before she would be right out. Tips are expected but service is terrible. I get home my order is missing what I purchased. I call ask for a Manger and was purposely left on hold for 10 mins with no return to the phone. I spent $50 and the food was not good.

The lady at the counter had a Oh well attitude.

Improve the night shift. I could have went anywhere to spend money but I won't return due to...
