This has always been my least favorite TARGET STORE to shop at- and it happens to be in a predominantly BLACK neighborhood- This is sad to say coming from a professional Black Male. However It starts with Management. Some of the employees are horrible, like the Psychology Major(hint) at the customer service desk; she looks at me and said, “You look a little uptight” (Condescendingly) because I asked to speak with the Manager. Thanks for the evaluation madam- you are a real gem.
Why did I come into this store at 830pm - (Baby Water). This store is notorious for not keeping good Inventory, never have I come to this store and find exactly what I am looking for and baby water is no exception. How hard is it to manage inventory based on demand? They are notorious for always being out, which means I have checked a few times to know this.
Tonight the Store was relatively quite - not many shoppers- I asked to speak with a Manager- Robin never came to see what I needed and the other Manager said, I can’t speak with you, I am not working, then why are you in the store? So I waited and waited no Manager came to speak with me- so I left.
When I need something from Target- I do it on the way home from work, in the WHITE neighborhood, supply is always available, based on demand- friendly employees and a manager/Supervisor that manages the checkout line. Same national store- different MINDSET! What a horrible observation from a Black Man in a state that has a Predominately Black City.
This type of behavior starts at the Top- (Store Manager)- the Mindset and attitude was evident tonight which explains the attitude and mindset of the people below that Manager. Get “RID” of the Manager change the mindset, conduct proper customer service training, attach a Disciplinary Action to their behavior and this STORE may, just may start to properly serve the people in the community which...
Read moreToday this woman right here is the reason folks stop coming into stores shopping. If I could give ZERO STARS I would. I’m a regular at Target on Sfld Rd. I’ve seen her many times being curt and down right rude to customers. Today it was my turn, unfortunately.
I went to self check out and I was comparing the items prices to what I had in my cart on the Target app. They were all off by 60 cents or more. Unfortunately I had the displeasure of having her come over to assist. Due to her not being able to utilize her work scanner, she starts saying to me, “How did you scan to get these prices?” She asked me several times, and my answer was the same, “I didn’t scan anything. I chose the item on the app.” Well, she got more and more agitated and in an accusatory tone, she says, “Well if the price was what it shows in your phone, it would come up in my scanner.” I IMMEDIATELY asked for a manager, and she continued to verbally be demeaning to the point that I said, “Lady, I don’t need to steal 60 cents. It’s not my fault your scanner doesn’t show what’s in the app.” I continued and said, “It’s too early for this. If you don’t like your job, find another occupation.” She said, “I’m here by choice. I don’t have to work here.” My response was, “Then your attitude should be a whole lot better because you act as though you hate your job and don’t want to be here.” After the manager came, I explained what happened and she apologized giving me a $5 gift card. I told her to keep it and train her workers better in the art of customer service.
Since this is my neighborhood store, I’ll keep coming back. I will just choose not to have her help me due to her nasty attitude and condescending manner in which she treats customers. Also reaching out to corporate on...
Read moreThere was a purchase made via check 2 weeks ago. There was a problem processing the payment on that particular register, that transaction was “voided” and re-rang on another register. After reviewing the transaction history later that week, the transaction pulled twice. I returned to the location today to see what was needed to get the funds returned; Yevette on the guest service/return register was rude and very unwilling to help me (or anyone else for that matter) I explained the situation to her she seemed uninterested and as if I was a bother. I mentioned the manager tha. t handled the original transaction 2 weeks ago Diamond, she looked for her and stated “there she is over there” I waited as if she was going to page for her or go get her; Yvette looked at me and told me I could go get Diamond to speak on the problem. Diamond proceeded to tell me how to get my funds back and provided a $25 gift card. I continued to watch Yvette work while I was in the store and there was a lady at uscan that needed assistance and instead of her helping as she walked by she said that someone else would be over the help her. There was another uscan customer that left her purchase at the store because no one came over to assist.
Overall, Yvette made the experience today at this location...
