Burlington — Local services in Southfield

I purchased 2 shirts a couple of months before. After noticing magnetic seal not removed for 2 shirts went back to remove it to make a second trip, again only 1 seal was removed. Could not hear door alarm ring for 2nd shirt while going out so today with other purchases of Loyalty sale at $137.83 under Transaction 99299 Store 00024 new Cashier Michael got the seal off but another Cashier beside him who interfered told him to put seal back which he did. I called for Mgr. Demarco L, she told us that this shirt was not from her store. Moreover she told a lie that this seal is not theirs, cannot be opened. To our annoying experience, behavior of other Cashier was very rude. She told me that I was not hearing what she says when I patiently heard her all the long time we spent. I noticed that you had some good workers before willing to help but now you have more than enough cashiers with all Checkouts open. We had to leave with disappointment. I love Burlington for all the funky things I can find for a great price. My favorite item to look for are off-beat t-shirts and this visit did not disappoint. We try to visit as many different Burlington stores as possible and this was our first time to this store. We found it clean with clear isles, which made pushing my mom in her chair a lot easier.

The stock was loaded with goodies for men, women, children, home-goods and one of my favorites...perfume!

I bought 4 fun t-shirts, mom got a few things for her great-grandbaby and the house. There was a long checkout line but it moved swiftly. Our cashier was very kind and professional.

There is plenty of parking and lots of nearby stores to consider as well. The shopping center is a bit run down but it still delivers.

9/28/25 Service seems to have improved. They were super busy on a weekday evening, but had three cashiers, so wait times were minimal and the clerk that helped me was friendly and helpful. I hope this continues as this tends to be a busy location.

OLD Review from early 2025. Service is horrible! There were 2 checkout cashiers. One had a lady with a basket full of merchandise to checkout. The other finished checking out her customer, barely looked at me and another customer waiting and just walked away. I waited 5 minutes and got my Amazon packages and left.
