Owner agreed to take items from my house and sell them and we would SPLIT the sales in his store. A consignment deal. When he got there he said none of it could be sold. He said he would donate to veterans group. So he charges me $350 to take it away. Had a feeling he was scamming me bc he seemed sleazy. Went to look at an electric recliner. We had seen a picture of one that was $99 When we got there there were signs saying all furniture 50% off. It was hard to tell what 50% was since more than half the furniture was unmarked. The women working there said it was $99. Not half off. We looked at another recliner. No price on it. The women who worked there said $150 but couldn’t tell us if that was half off. Asked if we could plug in the recliner to see if it worked. my second time in the store tonight. bought a desk for a bargain a year ago and refinished it. tonight, found a bureau i am going to turn into a vessel sink vanity. mario, the owner, is super nice. let me take the bureau for $30 (I didn't see anything in the store priced that low, but the bureau did not have a tag) and loaded it into my car for me! the store has a LOT of stuff and requires patience to sort through, but is well worth it! i will be back for another bureau for another vessel sink vanity if this project goes...
