Kiwi Spoon — Local services in Southington

Kiwi spoon overall is great, their flavors and toppings are one of my favorites. The only thing I have an issue with is one of the young girls who works there, has black hair and is always working when I go there. Every time I go there she seems like she has some kind of issue and is very rude to me and my husband. This last time I went I had asked one of the girls if I can get a sample cup (the young lady with the glasses) was very sweet and she filled it for me. I threw the cup away and the black hair girl told me I had to ask for a sample cup and not just take them- which I didn’t do in the first place and then proceeded to tell me that I can’t throw in that trash can, which was very odd because that’s the trash can in the lobby. It’s a very unwelcoming feeling that brings me and my husband to enjoy the froyo either outside or in our car. This last time I also noticed she was very rude to her coworker- also a young girl with glasses. Ordering her around, correcting her every time she tries to sweep the floor. Not sure if I’ll be returning again due to the customer...

They are pretty good. Tonight, I was a little annoyed. A guy there before me had a little tasting cup to try a flavor. My son wanted to try one to make sure he would like it and when I asked if they had the little cups, I was told no. Really? Why did the guy ahead of us have one? Also, now that all of the toppings are in individual cups, that is a lot of plastic going into the regular trash. They should figure a way to recycle them. Most of the toppings leave the container with no residue left behind. I think I will have to find another...

Be careful because no matter what you purchase, you cant get a refund. I ordered a strawberry banana smoothie and the smoothie was warm and watery. I took one sip and was immediately ready to throw it out. There was an Asian woman and Asian gentleman there working and I tried to get a refund and the lady was rude and kept repeating the fact I couldn’t get refund all while talking over me. Will not be returning to this...
