Shooters Billiards & Arcade — Local services in Southington

I’ve been in several times over the years and had great experiences in the past. The upkeep of their tables and equipment is far superior to other places I've been so I wanted to bring my fiancé in to teach him to play.

HOWEVER when we stopped in on a Friday night a couple weeks ago we encountered two girls that are EXTREMELY rude. I think their names are Skyler and Tanya. While waiting for a table I witnessed them snap at customers for ordering food and drinks. Apparently the CUSTOMERS were interrupting whatever the girls were watching on their phone. They even told one gentleman to "go away". I don't know if they're new, but I don't recall even seeing them before. They look very young. The building was packed anyway, although I'm not sure why, so we decided to head elsewhere.

I wanted to give them another chance so we stopped in this past Wednesday for ladies night. All was well. Phew! Maybe they were let go!

We went back again on Saturday with some friends. A very nice older lady got our table set up and we were having a blast playing. Later in the evening I went up to order more beers and immediately changed my mind after seeing Tanya and witnessing her yet again reprimanding a customer for being "too needy" then SHE WALKED AWAY LAUGHING!! The lady working with her quickly approached him and took his order, but I was so appalled that we immediately asked to pay our tab, and made our way to the door before we became her next victims.

I'm not sure if I'll go back. I may have to start calling ahead to see...

I'm usually not a review guy, but I saw a bad review based off of two women who work at Shooters.

The review stated it was packed--that is due to a Friday night pool league which always plays at Shooters. I am usually one of the ones the young women are "rude" to. That is because I have known them for a few years now, and we, as do the majority of the players on Friday night, have built a friendship.

In reality, they are pleasant, friendly, and hardworking, as they never stop moving from the time I arrive until the time I leave. Usually about five to six hours.

These young ladies are quick to fulfill orders and they are always around asking if we need or want anything else. They make coming to Shooters even...

I miss when Taylor worked here. She was honestly one of the best workers I had ever seen. Made Friday and Saturday nights so enjoyable. She was Young ambitious friendly and always brought a smile to peoples faces. These new people r awful. The “manager” named lorri is rude, slow, and always outside vaping. I swear she barely works. No one comes out on the floor anymore they just ignore everyone it’s outrageous. 4 people at the counter and u wait forever, Taylor used to grab multiple orders at once, used to never be at that counter for more then 5 minutes. This place used to be enjoyable and now it’s miserable. Sad to say but I...
