I have never been properly fitted for clubs. So when I made the decision to invest in new clubs fit for me, I made sure I shopped around. I went to 3 different club fitting stores. PXG, PGA superstore and finally Club Champion. PXG was informative and great experience however, I didn’t want to make a rush decision. So I went to PGA store and nice fitting but not very informative and more of ok you like these? You going buy them or what? Didn’t like the experience. Finally went to Club Champion. My fitter was Roger. Super nice guy and very direct which I like. Roger told me this isn’t like other fitting stores which I was skeptical at first. But Roger guided me through the whole process. Went through ALL the data and what it meant (didn’t really get that elsewhere). Felt very informed in how I was performing with each club. I hit less golf balls and was more confident in my equipment decision than the other two stores. I didn’t feel like I was being rushed to buy or being overwhelmed with brand choices. I bought a set of irons on the spot and was confident in my purchase.

Club Champion likes to offer a coupon for the fitting, normal fitting is 175 dollars for a set of irons, and the coupon takes it to 50, BUT they sneak in there that is only if you buy a set of clubs.
Then you get to the end of the fitting and they hit you with a quote that is DOUBLE what any other place would charge, and they say oh well its because our master builder hand picks the shafts, and its the best set you will ever own, but have no real justification for the massive upsell. I went prepared to buy a set of clubs, not for that freaking price.
They say well thats okay, I have the spec sheet for you, however, they also don't tell you that it is dang near a proprietary sheet because all of their fittings are done with extra swing weight. Now I gotta go find someone able to go from D2 to D4.
Unless you are made of money, absolutely do not go here.
Even the fitter I worked with said, "Yeah that is deceptive marketing" when I made him pull up the website. This fitting, definitely not worth that much money. Just crappy business practice, a good experience ruined by...
