Mad River — Local services in Southport

Mad River in Southport, NC is the one store we can not stay away from in this area! They have a cool funky, stylish vibe that anyone would enjoy. In fact, we liked their design so much we asked Gwen to do our entire new beach home. We are more than pleased with the furniture, accessories and overall design. My wife, daughters, and grandson stopped here to to some shopping. This used to be one of my wife’s favorite places to shop and has spent a lot of money here on various items. Unfortunately, my family was not welcome here and we will not return. They were met at the door and continuously harassed that this was a “hands in pocket shopping experience”. Cute store. Please do not plan to test the furniture (ie: sit in it) unless you are prepared to buy it. The folks in charge do not like people to sit in their furniture while their family members' shop and purchase other items.
