My wife and I moved to Southport about two years ago. The Southport Cheese Shop has become one of our favorite places to shop and get lunch. Where do I start, amazing speciality items, the best cheese and steaks in this part of the state, friendly caring service and the subs OMG the subs are the best subs we have ever had. We have called on the shop to provide charcuterie, boards, and assorted sub plates with all sides needed for our Christmas and New Year’s parties ~ the Quality and the service provided are always a 10/10…. the worse in customer service. I went in on saturday around 3. There was one person sweeping, 2 behind the counter and another that was talking to two men. This employee was so wrapped up in talking to them about some band. Where they were standing, I could not get to the cooler. I stood at the cheese counter and NO one acknowledge i was in the store. I was in the shop for 15 mins and received no help. I even sent an email to the owner who has completely ignore it and not responded. I would advise not going to here. very...

Couldn’t ask for a better lunch on a beautiful day in Southport, NC! Upon arrival we were greeted by the nicest workers! The interior was filled with amazing products and beautiful decor! Definitely a popular spot in town, lots of people stopping in for lunch! While waiting we sat outside and had a beautiful view of Howe street!
