Historic Amuzu Theatre — Attraction in Southport

The Amuzu is the best live entertainment around. The theatre building itself is a beautiful structure with the original brick from 1918. The owner is the third generation of the theatre and his wife, daughters and granddaughter are also performers. Saw the Christmas Show Saturday, December 10th. It was the most intense and passionate performance of people I have seen in person and on TV. The songs and acts were many and marvelous. The dedication of everyone in this theater is second to none. I am in shock I was able to get two tickets to this show after seeing how great it was. Hope I can get tickets for future...

Love it!!!! A great piece of history in Southport I highly recommend goin to one of their shows very entertaining and massive talent. We will be going back every opportunity we have. Mr and Mrs Furpless were very hospitable. Spoke to Mr Furpless early before the show and he gave us a great history lesson on the theater, very interesting. I cannot recommend this place...
