I want to rate 5 stars because the staff are so incredibly kind. However, the vacuum I bought has been nothing but trouble. I’ve taken the vacuum in several times for repair or adjustment which typically only needed to have someone spend a few minutes fixing. However, every time it’s the same issue. The mechanism that is supposed to move the belt to turn the brush when selecting carpet or floor is always breaking. Again I’ve had this repaired several times. I recently took it in for the yearly inspection and the tech said he would just replace the entire mechanism. I was surprised to find out I was charged for this as I thought a consistently failing part would fall under warranty as a manufacturer defect. So the surprise charge wasn’t fun to receive. And of course once I brought it home, the brush belt mechanism is again failing. I hate the vacuum I bought, but...

0 STARS. I brought in a Riccar and an Electrolux for repair. After waiting two weeks, WE FINALLY CALLED THEM to see what the status was for our vacuums. A few days later we received a call. The repair for the Riccar was estimated at over $200, the Electrolux $160. He asked me if I wanted him to recycle both since this was so expensive. I agreed on the Riccar but picked up the Electrolux to get another bid. I took it to another repair shop. It was the BELT! The cost for repair was $4. She helped me put on the new belt right there in the store. It took me approximately 15 minutes, and I had my vacuum home again. I wish I had taken my Riccar somewhere else as well. I wonder what really happened to the Riccar? Do not take your vacuums to this...

We had our machine taken here in September of 2021 and got it back in May 2022. Turns out it was seized up worse than any of us thought and they worked persistently to make sure my 50 year old machine worked like new again! Randy was awesome and knew exactly what needed to be done and was determined to win out against the machine. Thank you thank you thank you!! They’ve won our business for life!
