We Share Appliances — Local services in Sparks

My oven had been broken for over 6 months. My refrigerator had leaked since I bought my home. I live in a rural area and was kind of overwhelmed with the thought of trying to replace them, both transport and financially. We Share Appliances was randomly suggested to me and I’m beyond grateful that they were. I walked into their shop in Sparks and John was instantly accommodating and incredibly helpful. I came in for an oven and he showed me their selection. I selected a brand new oven that was a steal of a price. I also found a great price for a used refrigerator. He wouldn’t sell it to me initially due to it not having yet passed his testing to ensure it was a quality appliance. Turns out it passed his testing and I am now the owner of two great appliances. I told him I would reach out to schedule pick up. Over the course of the week I asked if delivery was available to my area (approximately 68 miles away from the shop). Not only did John deliver the very next day, but he installed my appliances, and hauled away the old ones, at no additional cost. I am incredibly satisfied with the efficiency, quality, pricing, and overall excellent customer service that John and We Share Appliances demonstrated throughout this process. Dryer went out, thought it was just the on/off knob. Called before opening time and the owner answered very promptly. He had me send over a picture of the make/model of the broken dryer, had his repair mechanic, Robert, contact me about 30 minutes later for an address for repair service.

Robert showed up very quickly, assessed the broken dryer and advised it may cost more to fix it than a used refurbished dryer they had their shop for $125. He quoted me $50 for delivery but I am located about a mile away. He was also able to change the the power plug prongs from 3 to 4, no problem.

I went for pickup and found the location fairly easy, just a little tight in the parking lot. Got the dryer very quickly and loading was easy enough.

Got it back to my location to give it a test. It was a fairly clean appliance and it being a Maytag at 33 years old, it works flawlessly! Thank you for the great knowledge and amazing, nostalgic dryer!

Would definitely recommend if you are on a budget and want used appliances. Robert told me that they also rent out appliances and do home...

My GE washer decided to blow its transmission (on a Friday night) so I found myself in search of a "new to me" one. I had done a google search and came up with 3 businesses and I am grateful John's "We Share Appliances" was the 1st on my list.

I found a washer that is just what I need and John delivered it the same day! During my 1st wash, I thought there was something wrong with it. I texted John and sent him a little video. Next thing I know, I am getting a call from his repairman, Robert, and we made an appointment for him to check it out. Thankfully, there was nothing wrong with the washer and its working like a champ!
