I ordered half of a Reuben sandwich and chose to sub the mayo for thousand island. I also ordered one of their winter soups, the Poblano Squash (the other was a Beef Bourguignon although they had their year-round chili and clam chowder). The soup was made of pureed Butternut, I believe, and nothing fancy but I got quite a bit for a cup and it was fairly decent. I got three packets of good saltines. The Reuben is the best I've had since moving here and decently sized. It had a very uniquely spiced corned beef. I'm excited to try their French Dip next time. They also had 2 specials that seem to vary by day. Pretty good amount of food for the price. I'm pretty sure I was served by the son as his sister made soup and other things, and I believe his father and mother own the restaurant, which he said has been open since the 1970s. This is fitting , as the place itself looks straight out of the late 70s - early 80s, complete with the music of ZZ Top, George Harrison, and Fine Young Cannibals playing on their wooden speakers above the counter. Would definitely recommend.

Awesome service I should have read the menu better so it’s on me I still give 5 stars. It’s clean too. but I personally wouldn’t recommend the taco salad . Lettus is bomb comes with all the fixins and a size of chips . What I didn’t like was that instead of seasoned ground beef it comes with a side of chili. Chili was not my favorite /: I appreciate that is was on the side so the salad by itself is okay I just wish it had regular ground beef 🤷🏼‍♀️ not gonna down them for that , I’d just say order a deli sandwich or something .

You can tell they care about the food they’re making. It’s fresh, it’s tasty, it’s loaded. No scrimping here, yes that’s multiple pieces of bacon and turkey in the pic and a big juicy tomato! Note: It’s easy to get to from any direction but parking is limited and a bit tight. The atmosphere may not impress your date but if they care more about the food than the vibe, they will definitely leave happy! (I did) 😋

In a word...disgusting! I have not been here in a couple years since I no longer work downtown. In the past there was a line to the door to order and you had to wait for a place to sit down. Today there was no line and you had a pic of any place to sit. That should have been my first clue. I stood at the counter for several minutes no one acknowledged me in any way. Finally a lady behind the counter said are you wanting to order? When I told her yes she said well you need to go here at the end of the counter. I ordered a soup and sandwich. The lettuce on the sandwich was brown and there was more lettuce than anything else on the sandwich. I also ordered beer cheese soup which did not taste like any beer cheese soup I have ever had. After a couple bites of both soup and sandwich $17 worth of food went into...

Something Else Deli is a GEM! This little deli is my FAVORITE lunch spot in Spokane! It's a hole in the wall with deep roots! They've been around for a while and is family owned! They truly are incredible food and their passion for serving others is present in their customer service and their SANDWICHES are HEFTY!!! Like for what your get for $$$ is incomparable to any deli in town. High quality PEOPLE, HIGH QUALITY FOOD! I like to consider myself a regular and enjoy the banter I have with all the employees when I visit. I can't take any photos because the sandwich is in my belly. :) Try the DEEP SEA! (current favorite) but other bangers are the Triple Treat and...
