Weis Markets — Local services in Spring Township

I'm rarely impressed by a supermarket but this location of Weis Markets is an exception. Everything about the store was pretty impressive. The layout, the inventory level, the presentation, the friendliness of staff are all quite excellent.

The store is clean and well organized. Handicap parking spots and maternity parking spots near the entrance. Automated doors for easy wheelchair access.

They have all the standard departments (deli, seafood, butcher, bakery, etc) but this is where the presentation really shines. One can feel confident that they're getting good quality at any of these counters...

Today I was grateful for the people working. My first stop was Wanda at the Deli. She always keeps the area so nice and clean. Every single time I come in she is so pleasant and helpful. Then there was Jen, the produce manager. She is awesome! She helped me find Pomegranate and was politely trying to let me know they go out of season. I explained my daughter donates platelets to help people with cancer. Jen found me in the store and was so touched that she offered me a bag of them at a discount. She told me she wishes there were more people like my daughter. She honestly took my breath away and I cried in the produce aisle. Tears of joy, of course. Your store is so clean! Wyomissing is the only Weis I shop at. Your sea food gentleman was so good to me. I am in an electric cart. He helped me putting all my purchases in my cart. I got 8lb. Cod. Scallops, Clams,and Shrimp. Also Lobster tails that he came and got them for me as I can't hold the door and get the product. He packed the Cod so I could handle it. Your cashier Ryan was excellent, he helped with the cards I paid with and he was very pleasant. All your workers help me when I ask. These young people are role modles for their generation.
