Bowls, salads and inventive desserts - all ingredients purchased from local producers. Lots of options for the Bowls. Once you enter, you go right to the kiosk (like the ones at Wawa) and review the menu and punch in your entire order. You can swap out any item (protein, rice/noodles, dressing, etc) or just go to the option where you make your own. Once you hit enter, go and pay. Grab your drink and sit down in a spacious, bright inside (tables or window raised bar seats) or go outside and sit at one of the umbrella covered round tables. They will call out your name (which you type in at time of order) and pick up your tray of food. FYI - the chopsticks are located next to the fountain drinks and condiments. Food was great! Price was properly measured ($) based on the quality. If you don't finish, grab a take home "Chinese style" box that you can heat up three next day (no metal in the box so put that right in the microwave). The desserts looked great, as did the accompanying bread (additional charge) but we were in a hurry and stuffed anyway. You pretty much serve yourself but I gave them a 5 because the wait wasn't long despite a fluid crowd. Food gets a 5 because ... well, it was great and anytime you can swap out any item to any meal, that's a plus. I give atmosphere a 4 because I didn't expect the hard floors and hard chairs in an open grill eatery. It reminded me of 5 Guys. I'm probably being petty but hey, at least you guys know what to expect and you'll give it a 5. A definite return time and time again!! Great addition that must be...
Read moreDuring my second visit to this location, I unfortunately experienced another disappointing outcome. I had previously read about the pre-opening in a newspaper article, which was excited to visit with my coworkers however, upon placing our order, we were informed by young lady that we require a code which we were unaware of she really escorted us out of the establishment.
Despite the initial setback we decided to give this location another chance unfortunately, this visit turned out to be the worst experience I have ever had in a Honeygrow establishment. Specifically, I please see a mobile order at 12:02 PM with an estimated pick up time at 12:45 when I inquired about my order at 12:45 I was informed that I had only place my order 25 minutes ago and that it would be ready soon. However I explain that in fact I place my order at 12 PM and even showed my confirmation email and the staff promise to expedite my order.
Regrettably I ended up waiting until 1:15 PM and had to cancel my order due to the lengthy delay. When I requested a receipt for proof of my cancellation from the Manager Josh I was informed that it cannot be provided due to the refund can only be processed at night when they close the batch . Overall, this experience was highly disappointing and high, and fell significantly short of...
Read moreI arrived at Honeygrow, and, yes, they were busy(Sunday night). But it took 10+ minutes before anyone acknowledged me. Since I didn't see any food on the takeout rack, I wasn't surprised when the counter person told me she could not find my order in the system. So I provided them the order number. Fast forward 10 minutes, I was informed that my order was made, but someone must have stolen it(this is the second time in 3 weeks). I waited 20 more minutes for them to remake the order when I was informed that they were out of shrimp. Everyone ordered shrimp! So, 45 minutes after I arrived, I exited the store. When I arrived home, I received 2 more surprises( it's the gift that keeps on giving, Clark). There was so much sauce in the bottom of the bag it had leaked through into the seat of my truck. Well, I figured there may be hope. The food is usually good, so to salvage this mess of a takeout order; I opened my food and.... The red pepper flake was so burnt, and now, throughout my meal that I was unable to eat it. I'm saddened by the downward spiral this location has been on, and the fact that I will no longer be patronizing any of...
