After 2 previous bad experiences I decided to try Mothership one more time today. Not surprised, I was AGAIN disappointed in the customer service. I received a text regarding the free Latte for Mother’s Day, so my husband and I went thru the drive-thru to order a few coffees. We were told we could only receive one of the free coffees if we ordered inside and therefore waited 16 minutes in the drive-thru lane before we could drive around and park to go inside. SUGGESTION: You should include that within your text message campaigns! “Only valid for dine-in only!” We ordered 2 coffees and an ice tea and waited another 15 to 20 minutes to receive our drinks only to be told they are out of straws and drink lids! Unbelievable! Whoever places your inventory orders falls short frequently!!!!!!! After over 30 minutes to get a drink we get in the car, I have to take the lid off my latte to drink and it spills everywhere. Needless to say I WILL NEVER be back! With SO MANY coffee options in Las Vegas, I’d rather go to Founders Coffee a 1/4 mile away. They have straws and MUCH friendlier customer...

My friend and I visited Mothership - The Bend for our first time this morning. We ordered 2 pourovers - the Atlas Light Roast and the Peru Medium Roast. Both were extremely watered down; they did not taste like typical pour overs at all and even more watered down than drip coffee.

The typical remarkable, distinctiveness of the particular coffee beans we were expecting was indistinguishable between the two from such watered down flavor. My main method of making coffee at home is a V60 with double filter, and I've had pour overs all over the world, as well as having worked on coffee farms throughout the harvesting process from picking to fermenting and roasting. Perhaps the female barista today was new or distracted from all the chatting?

On another note, the ambiance is great. Calming seating area. Ben the cashier was full of bubbly personality and his enthusiasm for explaining the notes and differences of each of the pourover beans was what helped capture our attention. Unfortunate that the pourovers themselves turned...
