I am writing to formally document the multiple issues related to the tub-to-shower conversion project contracted with your company for $13,975, which included the installation of shower doors. During the initial discussions with your sales representative, a doorless shower option was offered for $11,000, but I specifically agreed to the version with shower doors. The project was marketed as a comprehensive service with all aspects handled by your company, including clear communication throughout the process.
Summary of Issues:
Misrepresentation of Services: After the contract was signed, a representative measured the bathroom to confirm the design but made no mention of the inability to install shower doors. On the installation date, November 19, 2024, the installer did not communicate any issues with the design or scope of work. Upon completion, I inquired about the missing shower doors and was told that another company would handle that part of the job after the work dried. This was contrary to the one-day project timeline promised and was never disclosed to me beforehand.
Inadequate Resolution Offered: When I contacted the office, I was forwarded to the salesperson, who admitted a mistake had been made and offered a $1,000 refund. I rejected this offer, as it did not address the breach of contract. Subsequently, Brian Nevins, who identified himself as Vice President, acknowledged the error and offered to adjust the invoice by $1,750, framing it as a favor rather than a correction for services not rendered. I made it clear that this was unacceptable and reiterated my expectation that the job be completed as per the Unprofessional Behavior: During a subsequent call with Mr. Nevins, his behavior was unprofessional and unacceptable. He used profanity and displayed verbal aggression, which is entirely inappropriate. Regardless of the situation, proper customer service requires acknowledging the customer’s concerns, de-escalating the situation, and maintaining professionalism.
Request for Immediate Action
Your website guarantees to “deliver the best product, the best service, and the best overall experience,” with a pledge of “no surprises” and proactive communication. Unfortunately, my experience has been anything but that. The lack of transparency, failure to fulfill the terms of the contract, and poor communication have caused significant frustration
This situation has caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience to my family, and I urge you to take immediate steps to address these concerns. I look forward to your prompt response and resolution.
Of course this company still hasn’t finished job or issued refund which prompted me to file complaints with nys and nj consumer agencies. These people do not deserve...
Read moreWhen my husband and I decided to convert our old bathtub into a walk-in shower, we interviewed several companies before choosing All County One Day Bath/Bath Planet — and we couldn’t be happier with our decision!
I’ll admit I was a little skeptical at first after reading a mix of reviews online, but from start to finish, this company completely exceeded our expectations. Everyone we dealt with was professional, communicative, and genuinely cared about making sure we were happy.
From our salesman Chris, to the designer who came to measure, Dale, to the scheduler Ace, and the office manager Karen, the customer service was truly A+. They kept in constant contact with us through emails, calls, and texts — providing updates on product delivery, scheduling, and next steps. Every single person was friendly, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with.
But the real star of this project was our installer, Fernando. He was absolutely phenomenal! He arrived promptly both days, covered our floors to protect them, and worked tirelessly to transform our 1940s bathroom into something beautiful and modern. He single-handedly removed the old cast iron tub, the original tile walls and cement, reinforced the floorboards, installed the new plumbing, shower base, walls, vanity, and sink — and cleaned up 100% before leaving. He even took the time to walk me through proper care and maintenance of our new shower when he was finished.
Our bathroom came out even better than I dreamed it would. I don’t know who wrote the few negative reviews out there, but they certainly weren’t dealing with this incredible team here in New Jersey.
I will happily recommend All County One Day Bath/Bath Planet to everyone I know. If you’re lucky enough to get Fernando as your installer, you’ll see firsthand what true craftsmanship and pride in work look like. This company is fortunate to have such a talented and dedicated professional on...
Read moreMaybe I'm just the unlucky one... We decided to do a complete remodel of our bathroom, we chose All County in part because of the great reviews... Set up appt., salesman (Amir) came 3/7/21, showed us all the options so we signed contract. We were told completion of bathroom would be at the most 6 weeks from measurement. This (measurement) happened 3/10/21....This is when the nightmare began... Called a couple of weeks after, when I finally got hold of someone... they said they were delayed.. Asked them why I wasn't notified, they really didn't give me a good answer (everyone is delayed, this is rare but it happens, it's the warehouse in Chicago, pandemic issues etc...) Very long story short work did not begin until 5/28/21... One guy showed up and did the whole remodel.. Fernando...the only bright spot in this whole ordeal.. In between.. Not once they called to update us, I had to frequently call. It got to the point that a Brian (manager, I think) finally called to apologize for the unprofessionalism and delay. He promised he would somehow "make it up to us". As I'm writing this I haven't heard from him... (called, left messages.. Won't hold my breath) Anyway, work finally done 6/2/21......Bathroom beautiful (I made it beautiful by buying an expensive vanity, mirror, paint, bathroom hardware and light fixtures which are not included) BUT experience ruined by their lack of communication and poor customer service .. That's 12 whole weeks after measurement..... 6 weeks delayed. This is not my first rodeo.. I've dealt with contractors before and by far All County are the most unprofessional, dishonest people I've dealt with... Not to mention very expensive... Mickey Mouse all around...No way the reviews are accurate...If I knew on 3/7/21 that this job was gonna be completed on June 2nd...NO WAY I HIRE THEM... DEAL with at your...
