A few days ago, my wife and I went shopping at the Floor & Decor store in Springfield, NJ. The store is enormous, the selection of tiles and flooring is breathtaking, and the service is outstanding. Our sales associate happened to be the assistant manager, Val. He was a pleasant and knowledgeable young man who was very patient and accommodating. Val spent more than an hour assisting us. We were the last customers in the store and left right at closing time, around 8 PM. Unfortunately, a bitter surprise awaited us—we could not start our SUV. We were panicking when, fortunately, Val walked out of the store. I approached him and asked for help. Without hesitation, he brought his car in front of ours and tried to jump-start our battery. Unfortunately, it didn’t work. Val reassured us and suggested a solution. He mentioned that there is an auto parts store across Route 22, and he would bring a commercial booster from them. True to his word, Val soon returned with the booster, and our SUV started immediately. What a relief it was! Val’s kindness and willingness to go above and beyond are exemplary. My wife and I are incredibly grateful to Val and believe his actions should not go unnoticed by Floor & Decor...

I am a Pro customer who spends more than $50,000 every year at Floor & Decor, but the service I’ve received from the Springfield store is absolutely unacceptable. We placed an order (Order #SB029509609360302) and clearly told the associate multiple times that our business does not open until 8:30 AM. Despite repeating this detail, the store continued to schedule deliveries for 7:00 AM — a time when our doors are closed.
This isn’t a minor inconvenience. We are professionals who run large projects on strict timelines. Repeatedly ignoring our hours shows negligence, poor communication, and complete disregard for customer needs. If a Pro customer who spends this much can’t get proper service, I can only imagine how other customers are being treated.
After this experience, I cannot recommend this location. We will no longer be using the Springfield store, and I encourage others to beware before trusting this store with their business. Floor & Decor as a company should seriously reevaluate the way this...

My son (the order holder) and I picked up a full pallet of 56 tile packs yesterday from your Springfield, NJ location. Unfortunately, the pallet was poorly wrapped. Though we were told it was fine, the wrap came undone within two miles, especially on a slight turn, causing several vinyl tile packs to shift and nearly fall off the truck.
We had to stop and partially re-stack the load to prevent any damage or accident.
Later, we picked up a similar order from your East Brunswick location, and their packaging was much more secure—they used both plastic wrap and strong plastic strapping to hold the pallet firmly. This highlights an issue with the pallet preparation at Springfield.
Please take this as constructive feedback to improve packing and transport safety...
