Located in the very middle of a busy, well-traveled highway, this location is rather easy to get to. Parking seemed easier than most places with plenty of open spaces available. That being said, the dining area, though very outdated, is clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The condiments are all placed in one convenient location near the front of the restaurant; here, I’d suggest labelling as I had a tough time finding which container held garlic. Another thing to note, there may be no table service, as when I dined in, my guest and I had to return to the front counter to retrieve our items. This being my first visit, I ordered something simple: one plain slice, one pepperoni slice, one order of fries, and two drinks (for my guest and myself. The total came to be slightly under $20 making this location not very cost effective for a quick, cheap bite, in my opinion. The ingredients used for the pizza seemed high quality, my only dislike was how burnt my slice was, however, I’m at fault for not requesting exactly how I wanted my slice. All in all, I’d have to come back to this location to try their other items, but for the sake of getting pizza, there are plenty of other locations with larger, cheaper options that I would consider before...

My family and myself have been patrons of this establishment since they opened up many, many years ago. Since my folks are such harsh food critics I sometimes take them at their word. Since opening, Saporito has yet to disappoint us as customers. For at least the past 5 years consistently my folks have maintained that Saporito pizza is the best pizza in the Union County area. I have brought or recommended Saporito to a few friends who have since returned and stated their approval. The establishment is a reasonably sized pizzeria considering that it shares a space with two other stores and a parking lot with Chipotle Mexican Grill. Located on the island of US-22 in Springfield makes it the perfect place to stop for a bite or a pie if you are just passing through. Saporito offers a wide variety of pizzas both by the slice and per pie. In addition, they offer salads, chicken, hoagies, Stromboli, calzones, and much more. All orders are prepared fresh on site with options of eat-in or take out. Fountain drinks, cutlery, condiments, and disposable goods are all available on site.
