First time going here, whwn we walked in, two cashier were on duty, one was filling an order for delivery, the other with a yellow star 🌟 on her right cheek was looking at her phone. We started looking on the menu board. Another couple came in behind us... the cashier with the yellow ⭐️ sticker greeted this couple cheerfully welcoming them and asking them if she can help them... huh??? So I asked my husband, wait are we invisible since we were there first, she gave me a nasty look, the new couple indicated us being there before them. This young lady was not happy with me. The second one finished her order and professionally greeted us and asked to take our order. I thanked her shaking my head at the other cashier. She took the other couple’s order and said to me "don't talk to me your order is being taken'...
The other couple who expressed regrets came and sat with us. We had a nice conversation about how much harder it is to expect courtesy when it seems to be lost today... I guess it rankled, me her indifference, it may not be your career but you're in a job that calls for much public interaction. You're the face of 30 Burgers, be the Ambassador of the location.
However, we enjoyed the burgers, they were the best we've had in a long time, Mushroom Swiss and the Maui with onion rings and sweet potato fries. We'll go to another location or do a pick up order if we have to go to that store in...
Read moreI truly enjoy the food at 30 Burgers but more importantly customer service means so much more. As my 3yr old daughter and I entered the RT22 establishment, there was a heavy set lady leaning on the restaurant equipment away from the register deeply engaged in her cell phone. I already knew what I had wanted to order and didn’t need any additional time to look over the menu but was dam near forced to wait at the front of the register for about 4 minutes or so until she decided to get off of her phone. She finally walked over and stared me down oppose to simply greeting me with a “Hi, or Welcome… how could I help or are you ready to order”… so without being greeted I told her what I wanted. Once complete, there wasn’t even a “Thank you”. Once my food was ready she sat it down on the counter in a bag even though I intended on dining in with my child. She would have known if she would have asked. Needless to say, I’ll return for the food but I’ll definitely peek through the window first cause if I notice her in there again, I’ll simply walk my butt right to Five Guys. Oh and during her loud and unprofessional convo with the Hispanic cooks, she had the nerve to complain about another female employee who had the day off that’s always in her phone SMH (The pot calling the...

However, 30 BURGERS DOES NOT DISCLOSE ANYWHERE WITH SIGNAGE IN THE STORE OR ON THEIR WEBSITE THAT CUSTOMERS ARE BEING CHARGED A FEE WHEN PAYING WITH A CARD FOR YOUR MEAL. [3 STARS FOR THIS NON-DISCLOSURE]
If we didn't take the receipt and ask if our purchase amounted to 36.94 plus $2.45 is tax why was the total we paid $41.36? Not $39.39.
After going over the bill with the cashier she stated "oh you paid by card, that's why it's $41.36". We were NOT told there's a FEE for paying by card. That SHOULD be told to customers upfront. An accountant does check and review their bill.
While it is legal in NJ to charge a processing fee for purchases to recoup business costs on CREDIT CARDS. The LAW STATES THAT BUSINESSES MUST INFORM CUSTOMERS ABOUT THE SURCHARGE BEFORE THEY AGREE TO THE TRANSACTION.
WE WERE NOT TOLD NOR DID WE SEE ANY CLEARLY DISPLAYED SIGNAGE TELLING CUSTOMERS THEY'RE SUBJECT TO THE SURCHARGE WHICH WAS ALSO NOT STATED ON THE BILL's RECEIPT.
