Absolutely terrible experience on Veteran's Day. Would give zero Stars if possible. It was the most ill-managed and executed restaurant I've ever been to in my life. The line was not long however, no one was practicing social distancing, and the staff seemed unconcerned with their own safety and that of their customers. After they made my burritos in front of me, they put them aside on the counter where they sat for the next 15 minutes for some unknown reason, choosing to not complete my transaction. Rather they left me standing in front of them, with my burritos sitting on their counter while they went on to help multiple other customers who were not socially distancing while their unmasked children ran all over the restaurant touching everything. My entire experience was 25 minutes. After they did three other orders after starting and pausing mine and then going back to mine and then when they finally returned to my order, they wrapped it up so that all of the food was falling out of the burrito. When I asked them to rewrap the burrito that was completely falling apart, they had a very bad attitude and I wound up leaving there without buying my two burritos on veterans day. I don't know if it was this particular Chipotle or this is how Chipotle operates these days. But you can be 100% sure that I will tell everyone what an awful experience I had at this Chipotle and how utterly disgusted was at the lack of cleanliness, the lack of social distancing, and the most poor customer service and food management I can recall...
Read moreWhere to start.. first you show up in person to order from the restaurant only to find out that you can only order through the app or online via mobile phone or PC..... seriously? Luckily phone was charged and I had the app, but of course now not only will I be put at the end of the queue from orders outside the restaurant, the app itself has technical difficulties multiple times upon ordering.
After finally getting the order through, after having "something went wrong sorry" appear about 3-4 times when ordering, I sit for about 20+ minutes and received my order to have to now open every bowl packaged to ensure the order was correct. (Reason being that about three separate customers, during the 20+ minute I was waiting, had their order wrong and came back to get it correct) Not only was the portion size MUCH smaller than previous times ordered, the points for the order didn't even go through and it's been well over 24-48 hours.... 16 points away from a free Chipotle and apparently $37 of ordering doesn't add up to that? LOL
The "guidelines" for COVID operations are too much quite honestly and do much of a disservice for not only your business, as I counted about roughly 8 customers enter and exit upon hearing they couldn't order without the app within my timespan, but to your customers just ordering a "small" bowl of chicken and rice. While I understand things happen this seems a little strange for a location along a major street. When my turn came I ordered a bowl and on it went rice (which was hard) red beans (super dry) half steak half chicken (what I actually got was half steak that was extremely chewie and 4 pieces of chicken as they cut to order they clearly was shorting everyone on the chicken) so barely any meat, I got salsa (they dumped way too much into the bowl shredded cheese way too much like over the top and I asked for guacamole which they gave me a half scoop where every other location does a full spoon when I asked for more they told me I’d be charged for double extra guacamole how is that a thing when I didn’t receive a full serving. I take the food to go to work sit down to eat and I have is the most expensive bowl of rice and salsa I ever had. The rice was hard the beans were dry salsa over powered the entire bowl and I spent more time fishing for meat then actually eating. The staff looks absolutely miserable and the vibe is just off. Whoever is their manager should be fired and the staff should be re trained on correct portion control. I’ll never step foot in this place again even if the food was free.
