Dairy Queen (Treat) — Restaurant in Springfield

Went through the drive-thru just a few at around 8pm. I was unaware they closed at 8. Unfortunately I had my daughter who is indecisive. I asked for a moment, the person on the speaker asked if I was going to take a prolonged amount of time in less than 20secs. I got to the window and to not my surprise was someone that looked like she hated her job and hated I was even there. Did not greet me simply gave me my total, I asked for a carrier and lids please. She then shut the window and came back, I handed her my card she handed me the carrier of 3 blizzards without the lids and says have a good day and slams the window.

LMAO I could have went down the street to other places like Steak and Shake as well as Chick Fil A. I can spend my money at numerous spots. When you spend money especially right now you don't expect to get treated like garbage....I would like to think that everyone working their would love to have customers cause it means u have a job and u are getting paid but some people don't feel like that. I also suspect if I called the store I would receive the same culture as this starts at management and leaks down. This is a poorly ran store. I most likely will not be back this has got to be the worst I have ever been treated while giving people money.

Went a week prior to this visit, was waited on in the drive thru by a younger gentleman who was treating customers like they were an inconvenience to him as as if we were bothering him. Asked for a caramel sundae with whip cream, pecans and cherries. He didn't responds with "we ain't got no cherries here!" No biggie our order was done we left it alone. Visited again because my son wanted to go for a blizzard. Went, was waited on in the drive thru by a lady. More pleasant in the drive thru at first than the young gentleman. Ordered a blizzard, hot fudge sundae with whip cream and nuts..had no whip or nuts! Orders a sundae with caramel, whip cream, pecans, and a cherry. Get to the window and my total was way higher than the last visit and she proceeds to hand me some huge thing with hot fudge, caramel, pecans and I don't know what else. I asked what it was she said with an attitude "ummm it's what you ordered!" I said that's a medium Carmel sundae with whip cream pecans and was rudely interrupted and she said no it's a (something I couldn't understand). I said that's not what I ordered she continued with her attitude and I asked for a refund and she continue to be rude but after 5 minutes gave us the refund. Disappointed in...

I have been going to this same dairy Queen for years now. I love the ice cream and it has usually always been a great experience. However this last time I went it was not!! When I pulled up to the window I could see them getting my order ready. Instead of someone coming to get my payment they continued to get it ready. When they finally came to the window I was holding my card to hand her. Instead of taking it first she handed me my strawberry sundae that was overflowing and then peanut butter sundae that was overflowing as well.Then she took my card and then gave me the blizzard that was not overflowing. I had to hand the sundaes to my daughter to hold while I did the transaction.In the process of it the strawberry sundae dripped all over my shorts my car and my daughters pants.When she gave me my card back I said wouldn't it make sense to take my money before you hand me ice cream that is dripping everywhere. She just said sorry then shut the window.Instead of offering me a bigger container to put it in or at least some extra napkins or wet wipes!!
