Recently, we left our bank of 30+ years because lobby hours were restricted from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM and the only service provided was how to use their app. For the last two years the only option was drive in services where we waited up to 90 minutes for service. We needed a new bank and selected Mid-Missouri bank because service is their first name.
I have been conducting my business at the Mid Missouri Independence location for about four months and without fail it has been fabulous. Instead of teller windows each teller has a desk where the customer is the focus. Each time the employees are professional and quick. A special shout out of appreciation to Alex, Austin, and Heather. Alex even wrote me a hand-written thank you note regarding being a customer. This is the first time I received such a gracious note regarding my banking experience. As of today, all of the employees have been rock stars and I look forward to a long relationship with Mid Missouri Bank.

Read moreNot impressed. Went in there this Saturday to set op a JOINT account. Thankfully for me, my wife handles most of our finances and we have always had JOINT accounts. However, the young man we spoke with was full of cannot and no instead of offering a solution. I do not know what is so hard about setting up an account with my wife as primary and then me secondary with access. Kept telling us about federal law and how my wife cannot call on my bank card(don't care about that). So we walked out the door. Funny enough, went right down the road and opened a JOINT account without any issue. Obviously, the Saturday team is not the A team. Why couldn't the girl sitting at another desk set up an account? There is either a flaw in the training or your training is inadequate. Needless to say, will not be back and will tell people to consider another choice when it comes to looking for a bank to handle...
Read moreI have been using mid mo for over 10 years now (have used several different locations over the years but currently use this one) and can say that mid mo in general has high quality service and the client's best interest in mind. They act quickly with services and provide clarification whenever asked for. When I got married, they were able to set up a joint account with no problems at all. My husband and I bought our first house last year through mid mo and had Derek as our loan officer and he did a great job - we could tell he was honest and wanted what was best for us, which is not always the case with loan officers! But he's the real deal. I really cannot recommend mid mo overall enough. I hear scary bank stories from other people at other banks but have never experienced anything like that or heard of anything like it at mid mo. It is honest, quality service, and they handle...
