Caribou Coffee — Restaurant in Springfield

My first impression of this place was, that it looked like a mix of Starbucks and a moms and pops cafe. Very nice and clean inside, with a pleasant surprise ambience. I can see why regulars keep coming back for more. I was also pleasantly surprised at how quirky some of the menu items are named, but also how simple and easy it can be for the staff to help remembering what options they have. Lastly, I would have definitely given this coffee shop a 5/5 stars; however, because it took them a while to make my coffee. It seems like they definitely prioritize the speed of service for the drive through, rather than walk-in customers, which is understandable...

The Hy-Vee Caribou is a wonderful place to go. They have the nicest people and when it comes to me using my app they are always so helpful because there are times I just totally don’t remember to use it and then I do and then I can’t figure it out. But they are always so nice about everything and so helpful. The drinks are great. I love the turtle mocha and the funny part is I’m not a coffee person, but I really enjoy that drink. The wife and I had breakfast that consisted of I had biscuits and gravy they were good. My wife had a vegetable omelet the tomatoes were cold some of the other vegetables weren't cooked either the slab of cheese was on top of omelet instead of inside. The potatoes that came with it were overly big and thick and warm not hot. The 2 pancakes that came with it the one on top was cook the bottom one was not cooked and was gooey.
