We arrived as a party of 5 adults at 9:30 AM on a Saturday for my daughter's birthday. We were seated quickly by the decorative fireplace in the middle of the dining area. We waited quite a while before the server arrived to take our drink orders. We ordered eggs and chorizo X 2, the Bible Belt breakfast sandwich, French toast, and eggs with bacon. It took quite a while for our food to be served. Half of us received our food, and it was about 5 minutes before the others were served. Unfortunately, the server did not return until about 15 minutes later. The scrambled eggs and bacon were ice cold. We ate the bacon but cold eggs are just gross. The French toast was delicious. The eggs and chorizo were pretty good. The breakfast sandwich was very light in color with barely any toasting but was delicious. Our glasses were not refilled until the end of our meal, which was disappointing. For those of you wondering, no, we did not tell them the food was cold. There was no sense in mentioning it since the server did not return until everyone was finished eating. Sadly, we will not be returning. Springfield has so many other options for a great breakfast with great service!

Our server was pleasant and attentive. We ordered the breakfast mac n cheese and the biscuits and gravy breakfast. They allowed us to substitute the meat in the b&g breakfast with sweet potato tots. The b&g breakfast: Sent back b&g because we ordered it with regular (non-sausage) gravy. We sent it back a second time because the biscuits were burnt and hard. The 3rd try biscuits were dry, but serviceable. Skip the sweet potato tots. They're not a good as they sound. The Mac n cheese: Was good. Huge portion. HOWEVER Everything was bland. This restaurant is afraid of salt. The mac could have been stellar, but needed salt throughout. The eggs and b&g were in the same unsalted boat. Bland. Not worth the money we paid overall ($39 before tip).

Recommended by a local. We got there a little later in the morning. Therefore, we had a 30-40 min wait. No problem! Grab a pitcher of Mimosas and stand outside to enjoy the great day. Our waitress was great and responsive. We got the Breakfast Sandwich, Eggs and Chorizo and Uncle Cheese. The garlic parmesan sour dough bread really set off the Uncle Chesse. I will say if you are a cheese freak like me, ask for extra cheese. Both sandwiches were delicious. The Chorizo had good spice and not too greasy. I definitely recommend Early Bird style on anything. The sweet potato nuggets were really sweet and crispy... very good. There are lots of options on the menu and everything looked intriguing. I would recommend giving it a try.

Fabulous food, TERRIBLE SERVICE. We arrived & were told the wait would be about 15 minutes. I asked why and the waitress said, "There are tables open outside, but they just need to be wiped down because they are wet." So she goes and proceeds to clean a two person table inside, when no one in line was wanting a two person table.

Another waitress had forgotten to put someone on the list for a table, and they had been waiting forever to be seated. Obviously, they were a little upset and the waitress tells the other, "This guy is being an a**hole." Good thing the man didn't hear her, but I did. The same waitress turns to me and with a unsavory tone almost exclaims, "Can I help you?!" I was just waiting for my table.

So, then the same waitress snatches up some napkins and menus and starts walking to a table and says quietly to NO ONE something along the lines of, "Follow me." We were thinking she was going to seat the party who was waiting forever, but she whips around and snaps at us because we didn't follow her.

THEN, we got to our table and the seats had food all over them. We couldn't get the attention of the staff, so I took my cloth and wiped down our seats and placed the cloth on the floor next to the wall. I would have given it to someone had there been anyone around. It then took such a long time to get our food. At the end of the meal, I had put cantaloupe on the table temporarily because I couldn't get to the scarce pineapple and single grape in my cup (cheap).

So the waitor that we had who had been completely amazing says, "You're not just going to throw those on the ground too, are you?" I just laughed because I was kinda embarrassed. No, I'm not going to be putting a cloth that I used to clean off chairs on the table I'm eating on. I cleaned up my cantaloupe after I was finished with my food. Left a full tip and left. Great food, but the waitress with burgundy hair who was unnecessarily rude, the air headed waitress who was piddling around and took 15 minutes to get us an OPEN table, and the snarky waitor made this experience the worst restaurant...

I was previously a fan of Early Bird Breakfast Pub until this week. We went in around 9:30 AM and it was strange from the moment we walked in. Music was at full volume in both the kitchen and the main restaurant but they weren’t playing the same music. Then another guest alerted staff that a woman had been in the bathroom a long time and staff tried to get into the bathroom and get a response from her without luck. I noticed a man slumped over in a booth and saw staff trying to wake him but couldn’t . I asked staff to call 911 as I believed these two individuals were overdosing. The owner then came out and told me everything was fine, not to worry about it and offered a string of excuses such as “ he worked a double shift and just fell asleep”...”they had three drinks and were just drunk”...”he just broke up with her and they’re both upset”

After refusing to call 911, I told the owner I was going to call and he repeatedly told me “No!”

I did call and both parties were transported to the hospital from possible overdoses. The owner knew the individuals and was clearly trying to protect someone but these people were at risk of dying and were clearly in distress. I repeatedly told the owner he was being irresponsible towards other lives and could even be held liable and he flippantly said he wasn’t worried about a lawsuit.

It’s a shame the way this place has deteriorated in quality of food, service, etc in addition to...

I want to rate this place higher because the food is so amazing, but the service here (or what we experienced this morning) is atrocious.

I brought my mom in because I had been here once before and had had a good experience. We waited the expected time for a seat (15-20 minutes) and placed our orders pretty quickly.

After an hour of waiting for food and a good 40 minutes since our waiter checked on us, I stopped a random waitress and explained to her that we had been waiting for about an hour and that I couldn't help but notice that everyone around us, who was seated after us, had already gotten and eaten their food. I was calm, didnt raise my voice at all, was genuniely wondering. She gave me some lame excuse about the patio.. about how when it's open, they push the food out there first. Ok, I understand that. But I sat here and watched a group seated 45 minutes after us get their food before us. She came back explaining that they had a new food runner and he got confused.

Our order finally came up. Like I said before, the food was amazing. But we weren't discounted for anything. We got a measly apology from the waitress that wasn't even our waitress.

It would be totally different if they were just honest about either losing or missing our order, but they weren't. And they charged us full price.

We won't be...
