Double Take Consignment — Local services in St. Charles

I have found some great things in this store, however the poor winter maintenance of clearing snow and ice from their parking lot behind the store, the sidewalk along 2nd St. (Rte. 31) and the area and sidewalk directly in front of the store is inexcusable for a Downtown St. Charles prime retail merchant. It is snow packed, icy and dangerous. The store is located at a major intersection, Rte. 64 & Rte. 31, Main St. & 2nd St. It is either the owner of this business or the City of St. Charles, Public Works Department’s responsibility to oversee the safe access to City sidewalks on a daily basis. I will not return to Double Take Consignment if the owner has no interest in the safety of St. Charles residents...

My teenage daughter and I love to frequent local consignment shops together. We checked out Double Take for the first time a couple of weeks ago and can't wait to go back. I love shopping and consigning here! Fair prices and good deals happening all the time. I consign my kids’ clothes (Ralph Lauren, Polo, 7 Jeans, Janie and jack, Gap, and more!) and buy their stuff here, too, even some toys, books and games.
