My husband and I are lactose intolerant and ordered two white chocolate mochas with almond milk. We could taste that something was off. By the time we realized that they had not used almond milk; we were almost 15 minutes away from the Starbucks location. We are rarely in that area so it felt as if it was not worth calling and making a case or letting them know what happened to get our money back. They definitely charged us for the almond milk, I could see it on the receipt but they did not actually put almond milk in our drinks. We got sick about a half hour later. I genuinely believe that dietary restrictions are not something "small" to mess up. I know it's just an extra $1.50 too but adding that dollar and fifty cents for something that we didn't actually receive is enough to upset most people. Not to mention that we were the only car in the drive thru. Therefore, the excuse can not be that they were busy enough to oversee such a thing. I'm not sure if I should contact Starbucks customer service or if it isn't worth it because we...
Read moreI come here pretty regularly twice a week to work as it’s closest to my home, so I can confidently say this location falls short.
Most recently, I ordered an oatmeal for the first time and got plain, unflavored cooked oats. I looked at the tag and saw it said “brown sugar, berries, nuts, etc.”, so I went up to the counter and said “I believe I’m missing toppings, there are some listed on the tag”. The worker just said “Well, did you ask for toppings?” which, I guess I didn’t, but they weren’t offered and I’ve never ordered this before. How was I supposed to know I can’t just order an oatmeal off the menu unless I want plain oats? You don’t have to make a point that it’s my fault, she could have just given me the toppings without saying a single word and that would’ve been a normal interaction in my opinion. The employees here are definitely pretty rude. Maybe it’s because I’m the same age as them, I do notice they put a little bit more effort into their interactions with older...
Read moreI don't know if the 1 and 2 star reviews are from impatient, crazy people, but this is the best Starbucks location i have ever been. They are always so friendly and welcoming. I have been going to this location for probably 4 years now and I have never had an issue. They are always working hard when i get there and the line throught the drive through it out on the mall road and they have 20 people inside, but still have great customer service. Whatever they are doing at this store, i reccomend Starbucks emulate that for all other locations. I dont know why other reviews are supprised when you ask for something extra that it costs extra, but welcome to the real world. Perhaps learning a little patience in life would also be a good choice and not yelling at an hourly employee just because your Chi-Tea was a little off. Also, if you are going to study and want peace and quite then perhaps a local library would be a...
