I noticed my wedding ring had snapped at a soldered area and searched through Google for the nearest jeweler that offered repair services. I brought my wedding ring to the St. Cloud location on November 29, 2024, and was quoted $45 for the repair and a week to two week turn around. Received a call a week later and told that my ring is sterling silver - no kidding! already knew that! and had opals and fake diamonds (CZ); really??? again something I already knew! They told me that my ring would have to be sent out to the home office for repair. Okay fine. So, they had my ring for a month and when I received it back on January 3rd, 2025, I did notice that the prongs felt sharp, and my opals were muddy looking. The crack in the ring was repaired, however the band was made even thinner and weaker, and the ring was not soldered fully to the other part of the ring. Now even an opal has completely fallen out of the ring! DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE FOR REPAIRS!!!!! They will DESTROY your jewelry!!!! I have had to purchase a new ring to replace the one they broke! And I will be bringing my ring back to the jeweler that originally soldered them in the first place more than 4 years ago, since that jeweler knows what they are doing and doesn't muddy opals or lose them!!!! When I messaged Chris the manager about the issue with my ring; I have not received any type of communication other than dead silence!!!!
Update: January 27, 2025 I have now had my ring back from this jeweler for only 14 days and the ring has completely snapped in the exact same spot that was to originally be repaired!!!!!!!!! They did nothing to fix my ring; in fact they created a breaking point and compromised the rest of my rings!!!!! I see areas of cracking and breaking in the other rings now!!! This is going to probably end up costing me so much more money and time to have this all completely fixed! I already have to replace the band they "Repaired"! See the photos attached. One is November 29th when brought to the store, one is from last week on January 23, one is from today showing the ring is completely cracked after 14...
Read moreI am very disappointed with my service and customer service that I have been receiving. I got engaged January 2018. In that short time I have had to bring my ring in 4 different times to have the diamonds replaced. My ring has been there over 3 months out of the 11 months that I have been engaged to get the diamonds replaced. When they replaced my diamonds the color was dark in color and did not match my ring at all. The third time that I brought my ring in I have not received a phone call to pick it up so I called a week after pick up date and I was told by the worker that I just brought my ring in a few days ago and I tried to explain that that’s not correct and that I brought it in 3 weeks ago. He then told me that I was wrong and his computer does not lie. I called back after I checked my papers and I knew I was right. I then was told my ring has been ready. Poor communication. Also I was told at the 3rd time of bringing it in that they would add more gold to my ring for free to secure the diamonds and they never did anything with that. Then on the fourth time of me bringing my ring in, I was told that I would “trade in my ring” but I would have to spend DOUBLE of what we had paid the first time. After awhile the manager said that he could do 50 percent of the first ring. That doesn’t even make sense because I’m not “trading” my ring in. This is your mistake that the diamonds are falling out. I was also told I could pay around $2,500 to add more gold. We have already spent over budget on this first ring, I am not going to spend more. When I left the store and said to just continue to fix the falling out diamonds I said please make sure you put the correct diamond in and not these dark colored ones. The manager said “I’ll try my best”? I don’t feel happy walking into the store anymore, mind you I am an hour away so that’s 2 hours round trip that I am driving to have this...

My son nervously walked into this jewelry store several months ago with his mom I believe, looking for ideas on an engagement ring, the assistant manager Christopher, spoke to him as an equal and eased my son's nerves. On that visit my son chose the ring he thought she would like with the guidance and knowledge of Christopher, but didn't purchase it because he was still saving a bit more. A couple of months later my son went back in, this time with his girlfriend with him, he had went in this time to buy himself a new watch. Once again Christopher was their to great them "both" as "new customers" my son knew exactly why he acted like they'd never met before even though they had a couple of months earlier, an effort of keeping the secret. After helping my son choose a watch and ringing them up my son and his girlfriend walked over towards the ring section just to look at all the rings before leaving, With my son by her side and Christopher watching from behind the counter, she looked through what I can only imagine to be hundred of rings, she stopped at one, "the one", the same exact ring that my son had decided on with Christopher's help and guidance several months earlier, Christopher and my son just looked at each other, completely amazed and blown away. That's what brought me to Rodgers & Holland's today, today my son brought me here to show me the ring and to finally buy it. Once again Christopher was there to help him personally with the purchase. It was incredible to see my son and Christopher light up when they could finally tell someone about the incredible chain of events that had happened and how they were still blown away by it, I'm glad it was to me.
To Christopher: I can't thank you enough for helping my son, and future daughter in-law, find the perfect key that will start...
