We went with friends and their younger children to see the Candy Cane Lane lights show, and then decided to continue the evening by visiting Angel Avenue (on the 4700 Prague Ave block) and I must say we were pleasantly surprised.
While Angel Avenue doesn't seem to get near as much recognition, their light show had complexity and was completely in sync with the music you hear after you turn to the station posted on the sign. As insinuated by its name, the theme of the street does have various angels incorporated throughout their lights.
Overall, It was very impressive, especially for being free and being neighborhood homes. While Candy Cane Lane has more houses that participates, it also has more crowds. If more houses on Angel Avenue participated in the elaborate light show, then this could easily take the #1 St. Louis Hills neighborhood light show spot from...
