Moldova is a beautifully clean, friendly food market, with a wide variety of options. I would even say upscale! Compared to most other specialty/ethnic food markets I’ve encountered I feel confident in saying so. The owners are very kind and helpful. They don’t carry the typical grocery store inventory. The shop is focused on European and Eastern European products that are truly delicious and enjoyable. If you’re not sure what something is or how to use it, Alexi and his wife are always available for an answer or suggestions. They have a very impressive selection of cured/dried sausages, cold cuts, hams, and a great diversity of cheeses! Not to forget to mention their wide selections of frozen foods, both sweet and savory. Fresh and frozen European breads, cookies, candles and a plethora of other goodies. The pickled foods are unique and delicious. Honestly I could go on and on, but please treat yourself to a wonderful experience shopping at Moldova. You will be amazed! SHE KNEW WHEN SHE TOOK MY $133.00 THAT THE ITEM WAS FREEZER BURNT. TOLD ME TO DISGARD THE BAD STUFF (more than 50% was bad) and find what could be eaten. You don't want to shop here if so at...

To start, the staff are always friendly and helpful. If they do not have it, they try to help you find a similar item. The selection here is excellent with lots of great, fresh European groceries at very reasonable prices. If you love cold cuts especially, the selection here is hard to beat. There is also a great selection of Eastern European chocolates, which if you're like me, are a great alternative to the sweeter Western/Central European chocolates without being too bitter like dark chocolates.
I highly recommend...
