I have had nothing but a headache with La-Z-Boy! The Leather power recliner I bought came with a scuffed back. It was over 2K on clearance. They sent a replacement back, but it was the wrong one. They sent another one with a technician who then replaced the cracked base. The chair worked but 2 weeks later it started creaking again. The tech came out and said they were going to order me a new chair. In 3 weeks a new chair arrived. It was creased and the stuffing wasn't even in all of the chair. It came wrapped in cellophane with another customers name on it. They sent a tech out and he agreed it was probably another customers reject. The Tech wasn't happy and they told me they ordered another chair, but it wouldn't be until October until I get it. I ordered TWO Matching Sofas to match the recliner when I bought it in Feb. 2022. I knew it was going to be 4-6 months before I received them and I was okay with that at the time. Since the headache with the chair (I'm still on someone else's reject) the sofas were delivered mid August. One wasn't the one I ordered and I was told to reject it. The other seemed fine. Well, it's been less than a month and the seems have popped up. The seems aren't even straight. I am so DISGUSTED with Customer Service. I have emailed 3 different Departments sine Sept. 5th...NO ONE REPLIES!! As I write this I am on HOLD for Customer Service and it's been 29 minutes without ONE person!! Read moreI am disappointed with the chair and customer service I received from the Store Manager. First of all the chair does not match (the special order) fabric that I ordered. It is much lighter and does not seem to be as strong as the sample provided. The chair appears to be much smaller than the model I sampled on the showroom floor. The seat feels shorter and considerably less wide than the sample. I was told that the chairs are hand made and could be off by as much as two inches. Well, it is that two inches that make the chair terribly uncomfortable for me. I specifically went to La Z Boy because of their reputation, and I am really disappointed. I could have ordered the chair sight unseen from an online site and have better results. I was very quickly reminded of the contract that I signed, referencing the 30% ($220) restocking fee. I was also advised that a refund was not an option, just a store credit. These people at the La Z Boy at the Spotsylvania location could care less about my dissatisfaction and just kept quoting the contract. If the chair is not the same color I ordered and smaller than I ordered why is that my problem. I have made my concerns known and NEVER again will I order...
Read moreUntil yesterday I had never purchased something from la-z boy, I had visited the store many many times as well as the store in Gainesville Virginia but had never found something I really wanted or an associate that really made me want to pull the trigger but after having the pleasure to meet Carley Tartt and the rest of the staff including another young lady whose name I wish I'd caught, we made a purchase from la-z-boy. We spent three times the amount of money we had originally planned on our own choice based on more realistic expectations and are excited to receive our delivery tomorrow. Not only is this review the result of a great selection but also the feeling that our business was wanted without being pushed or pressured into a sale. Carley was extremely knowledgeable and able to work within all of our constraints including time frame, style, size and features. Even after she met all of those requirements we added more and she still exceeded our expectations but making sure that we understood the reality of our constraints. we are extremely excited to become la-z-boy customers and we hope this first piece of furniture fosters many more years...
