Getting bought out completely sucked the life out of this place. Even if it was probably far too expensive, at least there was variety and character. Now that it has been renovated, there is basically nothing in there. Before, there was a whole tech corner and someone over there who could help you with whatever you needed. They had desk chairs, all sorts of electronics, and any cable or part you could possibly need. Now it's just been boiled down to an unmanned, depressing Apple-only section in the back of the store. Everything is also now way more overpriced than it was in the first place, like a singular common mechanical pencil for literally $7, that had no packaging and already came with hair on it. I was hoping that they would add more soul to it like it previously had, but clearly, I was mistaken. All the GSU merch has been taken off from the walls and the like, it just feels so empty. At least when it was owned by the school and all the proceeded went to them, I felt a little better about coughing up money for an overpriced item every once in a while. Thanks, Barnes and Noble,...

The textbooks are hidden in the rear of this clothing store and perhaps 10% space is allocated for a SMALL amount of supplies. If your not using financial aide or VA benefit's (my situation as a Vet) buy online unless your interested in buying GSU swag and clothes. Two stars for location of the building and two staff members that I (we) fought thru clothes to reach each other, inorder to get help. Last, after waiting a few days for them to get more supplies/materials delivered I came back returned. There were no prices marked on several items which I can understand, since the staff were still in the itty bitty area restocking but at least prices on the shelves makes sense &...
Read moreIf you are a student needing books buy them from a 3rd party retailer. I bought a book that was needed for a 4 week accelerated class. Online access so I'd get the book immediately and be able to start working. Called the next day because I still couldn't access the book to be told they are having issues with VitalSource and it should be fixed in a few days...why are you selling books that the students can't access? I had to request a refund but I'm not 100% sure that was done properly because I still haven't received any kind of email confirmation. I'm now out $90 and have to purchase the book again so I don't fail the class. This is my 3rd semester at GSU but the first time I've purchased books through them and I won't do it again. I didn't save any money doing so, #1, and #2 - they can't even deliver what I purchased so I can complete...
