I pop into game stores whenever I visit a place. I'm a big Battletech guy, and they had a healthy supply of both the miniatures and sourcebooks, to include several that are increasingly rare in printed form.
They also have a collection of Iron Wine Metal miniatures, to include WarShips. I've been to a few gaming stores where Battletech is completely absent even though we're in the golden age of the product. Not so here, I suspect that they are very diligent about keeping stuff topped off.
It's been several years since I've played WH40K and D&D, although both properties seemed well represented so I think you'll probably be good to go if you head there looking for it.
The guy behind the counter readily answered questions about board games(person I was with asked about one they were buying) and didn't B.S. when they didn't know the answer to specific things, so that is always a plus.
The main con is that the game space seems very limited compared to some places I've seen. But I think they had to make a value judgement based upon what space was available.

Read moreThe store had a strong moldy odor that made it uncomfortable to stay in for more than a few minutes. While browsing the Magic: The Gathering binders, I noticed they were poorly organized, and most cards were not sleeved, leading to visible wear and damage.
None of the cards had visible price tags, and the individual at the counter manually priced each one upon request. This led to significant inconsistencies for example, a card valued at approximately $10 was priced at $20, while another worth $20 was priced for $11. This inconsistency made it difficult to shop with confidence.
Additionally, I found a card from the Unhinged set, which is not tournament-legal. After checking online and finding it valued at approximately $0.50, the staff member offered it for $3 simply because he couldn’t locate a reference price. This raised concerns about fairness and transparency in their pricing process.
Overall, due to the poor card conditions, lack of organization, inconsistent pricing, and unpleasant environment, I would not recommend this store to collectors or players looking for a reliable...
Read moreMy friend and I came in as we were walking downtown last night and we were immediately greeted by the owners. As I walked in, I noticed they had all kinds of Monopoly and was really excited. The person working let me know that they would get any of the versions they had in stock down for me. They were incredibly sweet and told me to enjoy the new game I got. Checking out, the employees made conversation and encouraged us to come back.
I'm not one who's big into games like D&D (which is what this store sells/does primarily), but I will definitely be coming back to look around or just hang out. I felt so welcomed by the staff and everybody was exceptionally kind to me. I've definitely found one of my new favorite shops in...
