I don’t usually leave reviews, but after my experience today in the plumbing department, I felt like I had to say something. The guys name was Marcus G, and he went above and beyond in every way imaginable.

My family and I were in the store for what we thought would be a quick visit, but ended up needing quite a bit of help with understanding the plumbing parts and figuring out how to install them properly.

Even while clearly in the middle of organizing his department — and actively helping several other customers — Marcus took 45 minutes to walk us through everything we needed. At one point, he made a joke about how he’s not a full-time plumber, but you honestly wouldn’t know it from how much he knew. He patiently explained the different products, answered all of our questions, and even took the time to sit down at the computer with us and pull up YouTube videos to help us better understand how to install certain components.

What really stood out was how gracefully he handled the constant flow of people who came up to him while he was helping us. He never got flustered or dismissive — he simply pivoted smoothly, answered questions quickly and accurately, and made sure everyone got what they needed. You can tell the guy really knows the store and takes pride in making sure people feel taken care of.

Before we left, Marcus mentioned wanting to help us sign up for a credit card, and I told him I’d definitely be back — not just for that, but to bring a few of my business partners along to sign up for consumer and contractor cards as well.

At the end of our conversation, he casually mentioned that he’s only been there for six months, which genuinely shocked me. You can tell Marcus has lifelong leadership qualities. The way he carries himself, how he treats people, and how committed he is to making sure customers leave with what they need — that’s rare.

We had ordered LG washer on October 10th. It was supposed to be delivered on October 21st. Even though ours was broken and we have two young children that are playing sports, we still had decided to wait for the order. I received a text that my Home Depot order will be delivered on October 21st between 11am-3pm. Well, October 21st it’s when the chaos started. I got a phone call at 3:36pm from a delivery company that they are 5 minutes away from my house, at 4:36pm I got a text that my order won’t be delivered that day and I will receive a phone call to schedule a new date and time. To say that I was aggravated is nothing!!!!! I called the store and spoke with our sales person Steve, asked him for an explanation and to help out with the new delivery date and time. He acted like it was no big deal, obviously it’s just another sale for him, unlike for us the washer is the essential! I was told by Steve that I’ll get a phone call from delivery company on Saturday October 22nd. That Saturday I got a text at 11:15am saying that my order was delivered. Well, it wasn’t! Called the store again, spoke with the manager, I believe his name was Chris, asked him for an explanation and to resolve the issue. I was naïve thinking that the manager would be willing to help me out ! He said that he called the delivery company and was told that they called me and told me that the delivery will be rescheduled for October 26th. Well I told him that no one called me and I’m not available on October 26th. Than he told me to call the delivery company myself, which is mind blowing!!!! I did business with Home Depot, not the delivery company!!!! He dumped the issue on a customer! Well, it’s October 25th, I can’t get hold of delivery company and no one from Home Depot is following up with me. The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced!!! Extremely disappointed!!! Will never shop...
