Bangkok Station Thai Restaurant — Restaurant in Sterling Heights

I went for lunch here with my brother and cousins because My Thai Halal was closed and whew! God knew what he was doing sending us their way!!

The restaurant was impeccabely clean and had such a nice, calm, relaxing vibe. It was a beautiful experience just sitting there. Their bathrooms were also clean 👌

The food was amazing! My cousins hadn't had Thai food before but they'll definitely be back today!

We had:

-Curry Puffs: 3/5, not bad, but I've had better. Still gonna get these again though lol -Crab Rangoons: 2/5, the ratio of cream cheese was to Rangoon was like 2.5:1 so if you like your Rangoons filled with cream cheese, you'll love these! I wasn't the biggest fan -Koong Hom Pa: 5/5, delicious! Wish they gave more sauce, but still DELICIOUS -Tom Yum Soup: 4/5, I've had tom yum at soooo many Thai places, but Bangkok Station is the only place to get it perfectly balanced 😭❤ the soup was amazing and we allll loved it! The only issue was the shrimp didn't seem like it was cooked all the way, but we still drank that thang uppp

For the entrees we got:

Pad Thai Curry, 5/5, Perfect balance of sweet and spicy, and the noodles were just right ✅

Curry Fried Rice, 4/5, curry powder taste was strong, but the spice level just wasn't there. It wasn't oily though! Cousin lovveedd it!!

Gang Dang, 5/5 what is there to say about this, it was perfect!

-Pad Kee Mao, 3.5/5, it was tasty, but it's just not in my flavor profile

All in all, everyone loved what they ordered, and really liked whwtever they tasted. It was a wonderful experience with very attentive waitstaff and delicious food!! I'm looking forward to coming...

Just ate here the food was disgusting I actually feel sick to my stomach and the prices are ridiculous would not recommend and will not be back.

First of all not once did I say the food was good u asked if I needed anything and I said we were good..... I was actually trying to be nice & just leave (disgusted) keeping my opinions about the food to myself, it was our very 1st time at your establishment & we were sitting at the table talking about how we didn't like the food the entire time as we were barely eating.... there was no flavor (very bland) the chicken tasted old, the crab rangoons didn't even have crab in them just a bunch of cream cheese & on top of that YES I felt like the prices were too high for the quality of food which we didn't even finish, it was a waste of $ for a meal I was less than satisfied with. I never yelled only expressed that I was unhappy with the food and you thought it was funny! Would be 1 star but the decor of the restaurant is beautiful and the complimentary spring roll was delicious brought that 1 star to a 2 star. Now onto the actual dinner I had drunken noodles (medium). The noodles were way undercooked, after mentioning this my food was taken away to the cook sitting at the table across the room from me. No one came to check after I sent the food back to even see if I'd like something different. After asking for the check and thinking hey I'll be good and atleadt pay for the spring roll. I received a check for the whole meal that was INEDIBLE. Even after walking to the counter and presenting the check for food I didn't eat was still charged the total amount. I paid and just left as to not argue with anyone. Needless to say I won't be back and that's unfortunate as I work in the area and was hoping to find a good Thai place. The initial experience was pleasant but with the undercooked food and no customer service afterwards I can't recommend this place to anyone. I know they just opened and hopefully it gets better but with how it was handled I was thoroughly dissappointed.

Update went back thanks to the owners offer and it was better than before. Even took my co-worker and we both enjoyed a quick lunch at work. Would recommend again and am glad the owner...
